I worked as an associate director and a project manager for a large scale projects. Managing a team of engineers and specialists to prepare and deliver the project deliverables, submittals and reports. My work involves managerial and decision making responsibilities.
I coordinate efforts to complete work in accordance with client requirements, expectations, and within the specified duration and budget.
The work involves executing, managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering design and technical tasks. like; ( Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, electrical and Low voltage, IT and communications and Quantity surveying).
Leading the design stages and tasks, including data collection, conceptual design, preparing preliminary design, obtaining licenses and approvals from governmental authorities, preparing working drawings and tender documents, tender evaluations and awarding.
Performing specialized studies and reviews like; designing, planning, modelling, Field Surveys: (Traffic, Geo-technical, Land-use, Topographic, and noise surveys), GIS analysis & Modelling, performing and managing technical studies (Environmental, Geo-technical, Urban Planning, Market Analysis).
I am responsible for contracts preparation and management including the contracts for our clients with their contractors and our contracts with sub-consultants & subcontractors. I also prepare and lead sub-contractor tendering and selection, performance control and management and payment review and approvals and maintaining budget control.

I also lead the business development efforts and the proposal preparation process, to insure that it will result in a competitive technical and financial proposals. The effort starts by exploring opportunities and getting shortlisted by utilizing communications and relations.
The proposal development process includes reading the terms of reference, attending the pretender meeting, prepare the entire proposal's sections; project comprehension, man-months inputs schedules work program and methodology, also preparing the CVs and experience in the required formats. Supervise graphic design. Scoping sub-consultants work, pricing staff and direct costs.
My work involves dealing with international consultants specialized in urban planning, architecture and civil engineering, we coordinate the proposal preparation and develop the structure of the proposal and split of work and manage the editing, and submit the competitive bid on time. After awarding I lead the contract negotiations and preparations process.

Worked as civil engineer .Performing construction supervision on civil projects which include infrastructure constructions (water network, sewerage network, and road construction), concrete buildings construction, steel buildings erection, buildings rehabilitation and maintenance.
My responsibilities includes planning and scheduling the new projects tasks. Monitoring and evaluating the project progress .Quality control. Performing on-site Supervision on the contractors work to insure the required quality, and to deliver the project within the scheduled time . Quantity surveying, and measuring bill of quantities of achieved work. Preparation of billing schedules and documentations, and issuing the contractors payments. Review, analysis and process the contractors biddings, payments, submittals and change orders. Submitting of monthly progress reports coordinating with colleague engineers.

Bachelor of science in Civil Engineering with emphasis in water resources and hydraulic engineering. The degree was completed in five years in the college of engineering and petroleum in Kuwait University.
