• Evaluating tender documents, drawings, schedules, bill of materials and sending clarifications to the client
• Preparing, presenting and explaining the cost estimations of project to the management.
• Attending site visits to understand the scope of the work and feasibility study of the project.
• Preparing BOQ, Material take offs
• Calculating task wise man hour allocation and the costing for each project.
• Floating enquiries to obtaining prices, reviewing the cost and obtaining approval for purchase.
• Preparing quotes and bids
• Preparing submittal drawings and designs as per requirements.
• Preparing project allocation plan, monitoring and ensuring time bound completion.
• Upon closure of projects reviewing the budgets, man power and resource allocation to the initial plan time frame.
• Follow up with the supplier/sub-contractor to obtain quotation in time, clarify to all their queries and meetings with the suppliers/sub-contractor when required.
• Technical evaluation of supplier/sub-contractor quotations as per tender requirements.
• Pricing material and labor cost of each BOQ item in the price comparison sheets by using the quotations and predetermined man power production rates.
• Preparing price comparison sheet for each system and final cost summary.
