In my most recent role, I am engaged in elevating the awareness of track/trace and various technologies. In addition, I focus on maximising customer engagement by developing and executing a robust go-to-market strategy for EVOTEQ's suite of products and services.
One of my key tasks is capitalizing on corporate opportunities through the strategic enhancement of relevant capabilities. This involves keenly identifying prospects and orchestrating the development of resources to align with emerging trends and demands.
In terms of contributions, I provide expert-level technical and operational advisory support to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP). Collaborating with our established partner ecosystem, which includes system integrators and logistics providers, I ensure the seamless and timely delivery of programs. Steering a large-scale, cross-functional team of over 150 members spread across diverse geographical locations, I foster a collaborative environment that was essential for success.
A small selection of the key achievements from this role includes the following:
➢ Leveraged leadership talents to source and retain talent, aimed at meeting all coaching, learning, development, empowerment, and performance objectives.
➢ Spearheaded a multi-million AED nation-wide program for UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) aimed at building the "Tatmeen Platform" (tatmeen.ae) for tracking of counterfeit pharmaceutical drugs (multi-billion AED annually) via utilization of SAP ATTP, MS Azure technologies, and GS1 standards.
During my tenure in this impactful role, I had the privilege of defining accurate digital transformation, data strategies, and roadmaps through collaborative efforts with ministers and C-level executives. My responsibilities involved offering robust digital and technology advisory services that spanned digital strategy, data strategy, and enterprise architecture.
In this dynamic position, I played a pivotal role in setting up and positioning PwC ME's one-firm strategy, establishing our firm as a go-to consulting partner. One of my notable contributions includes enhancing PwC's digital advisory offerings, particularly within government/public sector and transportation verticals. This involved engaging in dedicated practice development efforts and strategically building key accounts to strengthen our foothold in these critical sectors.
Key highlights from this role:
➢ Assisted a Saudi government entity in establishing data strategy and roadmap as well as launching a data management office via leadership of a team of nine consultants.
➢ Devised a two-year multi-million dollar digital strategy and roadmap for a Saudi government entity by providing direction to a team of 12+ consultants and SMEs, advancing customer services and back-office aspects.
➢ Enabled successful execution of the digital strategy and roadmap by extending high-quality execution management and governance services.
I was involved in identifying and resolving critical transportation issues. As a technical advisor and integral member of the department's management team, I actively contributed to overcoming challenges using emerging technology trends. Playing a pivotal role in the RTA's digital transformation megaproject, I led in-depth research on innovative technology trends, leveraging my broad technology knowledge.
One of my key accomplishments was enabling the successful procurement of IT systems and consultancy services. I took charge of the entire process, from the evaluation of bids to the selection of competitive vendors.
A few of my notable accomplishments are:
➢ Defined and presented department's ITS reference architecture, five-year roadmap, and comprehensive action plan.
➢ Formulated RFP for multiple projects, covering smart city, autonomous vehicles, and digital transformation projects.
➢ Developed and delivered multiple digital transformation projects to address and eliminate complex transportation issues, such as traffic congestion, parking, road safety, and O&M by utilizing Cloud Computing, IoT, and Big Data technologies.
In this tenure, I led dynamic teams of 10 members, delivering impeccable IT services and solutions to our valued customers. Embracing robust project management methodologies, I skillfully navigated multi-million-dollar projects, ensuring not only their success but also maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while staying within the designated schedules and budgets.
In the realm of contributions, my focus extended to guaranteeing the successful launch and rollout of cutting-edge IT products and services.
The key successes from this role were:
➢ Designed and implemented e-service channels, various system enhancements, and ANPR upgrade for the Dubai Tool Collection System (SALIK).
➢ Steered successful transportation integration and control systems for one of the biggest international airports in the GCC worth AED 29M.
At Orion TradeSoft, I directed a dynamic team of 20 members in software development, ensuring the delivery of outstanding IT solutions and top-notch support services. My role involved closely collaborating with Product Management teams to define the overarching architecture of IT solutions.
In this tenure, I had the exciting responsibility of co-developing our Go-To-Market Strategy for ICT Strategy & Enterprise Architecture offerings. This involved actively engaging in pre-sales activities to bolster and support the pursuit team.
It was my role to ensure that our strategies were not just comprehensive but also aligned seamlessly with the evolving needs of our clients.
During this role, I was involved in steering multiple dynamic software design and development teams, comprising 23 talented members. In this role, I guided the team to deliver exceptional IT solutions, fostering collaboration and innovation.
A key aspect of my responsibility involved actively participating in pre-sales activities, providing valuable support to our pursuit team. To stay ahead in the ever-evolving tech landscape, I conducted in-depth research on emerging technologies.
At Optimiza, I had the privilege of working in a technical advisory capacity with USAID and the Government of Jordan. I collaborated closely with both entities to tackle intricate management challenges, employing innovative IT solutions.
In this tenure at Estarta Solutions, I managed the Handheld Scanner software responsible for efficiently processing shipments for ARAMEX Couriers.
I oversaw the functionality of the Embedded File Sharing Server across both Windows and Linux systems, ensuring seamless communication and accessibility.
