Major Responsibilities:
o Managed the Design Consultants’, Supervision Consultants’ and Contractors’ teams responsible for the ELV, Security and IT Systems of the ISF Project
o Conducted Workshops with the client and end user to conclude technical requirements
o Prepared Design Concept documents
o Concluded Tender Requests Documents and Tender Preparations
o Reviewed Submitted Tenders including relevant technical solutions proposed, material, manpower, resources etc.
o Tender Evaluation upon submission by tenderers (both Consultants and Contractors)
o Design review of all security, ELV, IT & Telecom (Data Centers, Integration, DCIM, etc.) design documents
o Review SoW for given tenders and ensure complying with specs and requirements
o Coordinated between different stakeholders of the project to ensure smooth implementation
o Highlight potential risks in the delivery of the packages/projects
o Recommend Mitigation processes that proved successful upon completion
o Developed high-level project plans to monitor progress
o And many other related activities to managing Project execution and handing over

o Estimate Project Management efforts to deliver each project as per contract
o Meeting the Client and understanding their requirements
o Review Project Documentation (contract, design, SoW, etc.)
o Finalise the Project Plan and Design documentation.
o Finalising contracts and negotiations with different Vendors/Subcontractors
o Support the technical team to achieve client approval on the design and material proposed
o Getting MOI approvals on the design proposed for the CCTV cameras’ distributions, and for the equipment that was proposed
o Managing all the operations, purchasing, and resources of the project.
o Supervise implementation on site as per the MOI standards and regulations
o Coordination between all vendors, my teams, and the client to ensure proper implementation of the complete project
o Ensure the Customer/Client is satisfied with the deliverables
o Handing over to MOI after the project implementation, testing and commissioning is over
o Manage the commercial aspects of the project to increase cost saving as much as possible while maintaining good quality.
o Handover the project successfully within the time line and budget.

o Managed the technical ELV and Security teams and distributing assignments based on the requirements of each project
o Controlled and monitored expenses of every project to maintain and decrease the estimated cost and achieve more profit
o Ensure milestone invoicing is performed on time
o Successfully met projects’ Milestones and maintained schedules and time frames for all contracts
o Managed the team’s logistics and requirements for high efficiency

o Achieving higher rates for Pull-Through orders from existing projects

o Supported other JCI departments technically and through man power whenever needed to ensure perfect utilisation of my team members’ working hours.

My Major responsibilities were managing and organizing the Maintenance/Service for all ELV systems installed by JCI NDIA (HIA) plus closing out the project and following pending issues and to accomplish the same while maintaining customer satisfaction, I had to:
o Coordinate with the Clients (NDIA, HIA & Bechtel) to understand their full requirements and to sign the contract.
o Put an overall Plan of the project and get it approved by the client and my upper management
o Get quotes from all vendors involved and negotiate for the best prices
o Calculate and manage all costs related to the project
o Manage all the commercial aspects of the project to ensure high profitability
o Build the right team and on time (4 Engineers + 8 Senior Technicians and 1 Admin in 1 month)
o Train and support the team till they are capable of handling the technical issues on all above systems
o Build a work process and get the client familiar with this process
o Get to know the customer and their needs to fulfill all their requirements
o Managing the whole process to make sure everyone does the right job within the contractual time frame
o Follow up all pending documentation for the final close out of the CP-75 project and getting it approved and closed out by the Engineer (Bechtel) And I have succeeded in all the above and achieved high profits by:
• Minimizing the costs and Negotiating better subcontract prices with all vendors
• Enhance the procedures followed to be more efficient

A- Installation, testing and commissioning for the ELV systems and the following special systems such as:
 Radio Dispatch System (FREQUENTIS)
 Voice Communication System (FRQUENTIS)
 Video-Wall (BARCO)
 Crisis-Incident Management System (Web-EOC)
 Audio Visual Systems
 CCTV and Access Control Systems
 Workstations (PC, accessories and Technical Furniture)
B- Follow-up the approval process for the above systems with the client representative:
o Finalising the Design of the systems
o Get relevant Drawings, design documents, test procedures and reports approved
o Achieving integration between our systems and other contractor’s systems through extensive coordination and testing before implementation
o Coordinate with all involved parties to get the system ready and interfaced as per design and Client’s requirements
C- Management part which includes:
o Following up with all vendors to achieve the project milestones
o Letters and records for project progress and contractual records
o Variation Orders
o Schedules, Resources, Reports

A- Design review, Engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of:
 Security systems (CCTV, access control)
 Audio-Visual systems
 Fire Alarm Systems
 Building Management Systems
 Intercom systems
 Parking Management systems

B- Integration of the above systems in the Island with the Operation and Command Centre (OCCC) using BACnet/IP Protocol through the data network and optical fiber backbone across the Island.

C- Project Management which includes handling the Contractual and Commercial matters, such as: Payments, Variation Orders, Letters, Reports, Deliverables, Milestones, Schedules, Resources etc.

Electrical / low current systems Engineer with DAR Al-Handasah for the infrastructure of The-Pearl Qatar
My job included the design review and supervision for the installation, testing and commissioning of:
• Electrical equipment (11 KV Switchgear, 66KV GIS, 66/11KV transformers)
• Power & Control, Cable installation
• Lighting
• Power
• Telephone
• Fire Alarm & Intrusion alarm
For all the above mentioned utility buildings, in addition to the outdoor 66Kv and 11Kv Cable laying between the main substations and the MV-substations.
