• Working as a Financial Editor in the “Research Department” of Arqaam Capital - Cairo, Egypt; from November 18, 2018 till now; doing the following tasks:
- Editing all the research publications to ensure clarity, phrasing and structure.
- Adhering to a style checklist to ensure consistency of research layouts and templates.
- Working with research analysts to improve production and advice on structure/clarity of writing.
- Correcting spelling mistakes and grammatical errors.
- Verifying that graphics are correctly captioned.
- Resolving queries directly with the author of the report.
- Translating research reports or transcripts from English to Arabic and vice versa for Arqaam’s offices (Beirut, Dubai, Cairo and Johannesburg).
- Supporting all the analysts in Beirut, Dubai, Cairo and Johannesburg.
- Supporting with website.
- Helping in the translation of conference calls’ transcripts from English to Arabic.
- Liaising with other departments (Sales, Trading and IT) on logistical matters related to research distribution, mailing lists, roadshows calendars and itineraries of investors’ inbound visits.
- Communicating with external parties (Print shop and issuing companies) regarding printed research publications.
- Reorganize the research departments shared drive and handle the filing of source material.
- Upload news, macro data, commentaries, market multiples, earnings announcements, reports and snapshots on Arqaam Capital’s website & other external platforms through single-track.
- Maintaining single-track for the research analysts, logging client interactions.
- Ensure that Arqaam estimates are updated on all platforms.
- Maintain and update Arqaam Research portal as needed.
- Able to send out research from AC Research as and when needed.
- Help prepare presentations, converting word documents into PowerPoint presentations.
- Creating handouts for marketing.
- Merging sector reports while ensuring uniform formatting.
- Aggregate readership and production statistics for the research department.
• Working recently as an Editor and Translator in the “Research Department” of Sigma Capital company- Cairo, Egypt, from August 9, 2015 till now; doing the following tasks:
- Editing all the research publications to ensure clarity, phrasing and structure.
- Adhering to a style checklist to ensure consistency of research layouts and templates.
- Working with research analysts to improve production and advice on structure/clarity of writing.

- Editing, Copy editing/ writing, reviewing translation, and translating English/ Arabic/ English & French/ Arabic text of the company business papers, emails, website, and social media pages.
- Improving text consistency to be smoothly readable for all the company clients.
