Role:
• Responsible for Telecom Infrastructure Rollout of Civil / Electrical works related to Towers, Shelter, DG and etc. for major operators (Vodacom, Tigo, Airtel, Viettel & Helios) in entire Country in Tanzania
• Project implementation related to Telecom Infra works for BTS sites and coordinated with team of 25 Cluster Heads/Projects Managers/Engineers to plan and execution with optimum utilization of resources
• Ensure new site + upgrade roll out as per customer requirement and coordination with acquisition team resolve issues
• Effectively coordinating with Teams, internal departments, customers & external agencies and subcontractors to ensure completion of project within the time & cost parameters and effective resource utilization to max. the output
• Oversee the complete process of designing site layout to facilitate the installation, commissioning & configuration of a wide range of telecom equipments into the system
Role:
• Responsible for Telecom Network Rollout of 1200 kms Optical Fiber (OFC) and 300 BTS sites
• Lead and drive the Project with the perspective of ensuring the timely roll out of Optical Fiber and the sites
• Coordinate with ROW team for permission in-order to ensure successful completion of project within given timelines
• Conduct periodic governance meetings with vendors to ensure timely resolution of all issues
• Accountable for the rollout of infra through effective leadership and building a productive team down the line
Role:
• Conducted acceptance Test for OFC backbone/POI and BTS sites installation & commissioning of GSM Project Rollout
• Looked after:
o Installation & commissioning of entire Passive Infrastructure like Towers, Shelters, DG, AC and SMPS etc.
o Implementation of various project tasks & activities
• Interacted with all BOOL & other operators for sharing possibilities as a part of network rollout
• Ensured RFI status of BOOL sites with continuous follow-up and led to RFI of the sites
• Accountable for undertaking activities related to project execution, progress review and providing technical inputs for methodologies & site management to ensure timely delivery of BTS sites
• Liaised with various internal stakeholders like SCM, Finance, Logistics, Planning, Infrastructure, Quality Teams, etc.

Role:
• Carried out Passive Infrastructure acceptance test for 3500 BTS sites, 100 IBS sites & 500 kms of OFC Transmission backbone & POI using SDH Analyzer and Huawei BTS
• Accountable for:
o Defining clear targets as per AOP outflow to ensure roll out of 3500 own and BOOL sites on monthly basis
o Complete process of designing site layout to facilitate the installation, commissioning & configuration of a wide range of telecom equipment’s into the system for Core Network / OFC / BTS / IBS Roll Out & BTS Swapping
o Deployment & monitoring of 1500 (3G) e-Node BTS sites to meet rollout targets
o Implementation of various project tasks, activities, control and execute them through vendors / contractors. Site MIS tracking & Management report
o Managed various activities like site surveys, civil & electrical works, infra up-gradation and network rollout
o Co-ordinate with Site Acquisition team for timely acquisition of right sites as per guidelines, Soil investigation agencies and structural design teams for release of foundation drawings
• Supervised Circle Regulatory for applying and obtaining SACFA clearances
• Liaised with:
o BOOL Passive Infra Service Providers for site acquisition & leasing for GSM rollout
o Pollution Control Board, Electricity Board, Municipal Corporation & Government Authorities for obtaining ROW permissions for OFC and GSM Rollout
o Co-ordinate with site acquisition team to ensure timely resolution of owner related issues & collocation activities
o Sharing of own sites by other operators to reduce CAPEX and OPEX costs
• Ensured that all statutory requirements were complied for smooth & uninterrupted execution of projects
• Responsible for achieving the project goals with defined quality standards and estimated Capex and
Conducted Quality Audits for OFC & GSM Infra sites and closure of punch points
• Reviewed performance of vendors and provided inputs for evaluation to P&C and SCM Teams
• Drive EB team for EB load up-gradation on site when ever tenancy increase at sites and EB pending sites
• Maintaining inventory levels in stores for all items required in the plant and generating purchase orders when inventory levels reach reorder levels

Role:
• Carried out acceptance test for construction, installation & commissioning of 1300 Nokia BTS sites
• Accountable for:
o Site visit to monitor progress, expedite work and resolve site related issues and ensure early commissioning
o Survey of new sites to finalising the timelines with a consideration of desirable target, dependencies, criticality and priorities
• Visit the proposed site and collect necessary information in order to study the technical feasibility and do further planning
• Finalized the:
o Locations for installations of rooftop BTS sites in co-ordination with real estate & planning department
o Layout for green field site according to site conditions, rules & regulation
o Requirement of various equipment i.e. tower, shelter, etc. at site and freeze their respective specifications and Bill of Quantities
o Timelines with a consideration of desirable target, dependencies, criticality and priorities
