•• Infant & Young child feeding Project, in za'atri refugee camp focused on improving nutritional status of children under five and pregnant and lactated women. The project aims at increasing adoption of optimal FP and infant & young feeding (IYCF) practice in the camp, improving health care provider support for good IYCF, healthy family diet, and FP practices .
•support (MIYCN) research agenda and build Jordan’s individual and institutional capacity.
• work with the Nutrition Project Manager (NPM) to ensure that National CMAM Guidelines are adopted and strictly followed in the management of cases of moderate acute malnutrition (MAM) and severe acute malnutrition (SAM);
• • assess training needs and implement ongoing didactic and on-job training activities targeting the nutrition mobilizers and CMAM/Nutritionist team to build their capacity and enhance program services and practices (active screening and appropriate admissions and follow-up procedures)
• Support implementation of CMAM activities in the area.
• To provide training for SFP Program.
• To provide on-going technical support to nutrition staff to implement high-quality service.
• To monitor nutrition activities and output.
• Establish and support a referral system between CMAM program and other health care providers.
• Monitor CMAM stock management, ensuring availability, safe storage and rational use of essential drugs, supplies and equipment.
• To provide monthly nutrition report for health and nutrition team.
