Construction Manager at SUSCON Construction Solutions
CONTRACTED TO SUSCON CONSTRUCTION SERVICES TO COMPLETE THE 108 MINI HOSPITAL CONTRACT FOR THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH, ZAMBIA
Joined SUSCON on the 20th October 2019 to take over the Construction Manager’s role to complete the project after the previous CM had resigned with no notice at all.
Phase 2 consists of 88 MH’s which under my supervision and encouragement of all the Area Managers, Site Managers, HSE Advisors and general site personnel, we started to complete the sites in 4 to 5 months, when all materials were delivered on schedule.
I am a firm believer of teamwork and encouragement and this has paid healthy dividends to a much happier site team, dedicated to providing excellence on site production.
Under my direction, we have set a program for the completion of the balance of the sites with 26 of the 88 already completed and 34 sites under construction currently.
The current completion date is projected to be 31 September 2022.

Terra Firm Africa - Senior Project manager - February to July, 2017, Nairobi, Kenya
The Sunbird Group has a controlling stake in Terra Firma Africa in Kenya and K2 in Zambia.
Palm Valley Estate - High quality upmarket residential development on 60, 000m2 site situated in Kiambu, Nairobi. The project value is circa $ 17 million and is due for completion in May 2018.
Profica International - Senior Project manager - Lagos, Nigeria
In January 2016 moved to Profica West Africa.
Had 2 Projects under my control situated in Port Harcourt, Nigeria
The Silver Valley Mall project is an up market retail mall development by Agora Mall Limited in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Development cost around N 8 billion - circa 25 million USD.
Second project is an iconic Radisson Blu also in Port Harcourt. The Client, Cenprop Saroten Hotel Management are developing a 5-star high-end international brand hotel in the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
Total cost is currently at USD 155, 035, 256.90
Profica International - Senior Project manager - Radisson Blu, Upper Hill, Nairobi
In December, 2014 Barry was deployed to manage the Radisson Blu Hotel project, Upper Hill, Nairobi - value USD 30, 5 million. The hotel opened on 9th November 2015.
