• Reporting to the Group Head and managing 3 staff, responsible to design, develop and conduct the
Internal Audit Strategy for the Bank including procedures, work programs and risk-based audit plans for
approval by senior management.
• Definition of the Internal Audit methodology including Audit Charter, Audit Manual, Internal Audit
Standards, Policies and Procedures and Internal Audit reporting templates.
• Conduct Internal Audits to assess the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of established internal
controls and procedures.
• Follow up on the implementation of management actions as recommended by the audit reports.
• Monitor performance of audit team member and control the financial budgets for the internal audit
function.

• Liaison with the External Auditor on internal control issues and monitor audit trends and developments
for continual improvement to global standards.
• Identification of key risk areas and propose appropriate controls to mitigate risks.
• Monitor and report on management actions to be implemented and recommended in audit reports.
• Conduct ad-hoc audit investigations and reviews, as requested by the Audit Committee and communicate
results of audit and consulting projects via written reports and presentations to the Audit Committee and
Senior Management.
• Investigate professional development opportunities for the staff through training, professional association
memberships and sharing of information.
• Preparing the following policies and procedures : Conflict of Interest Policy \ Corporate Governance
Framework\Anti-Fraud Policy\ Communication Policy\ Whistle Blowing Policies & Procedures\ Code of
Ethics \ Personal Account Dealing Policy \ Procedures for Updating Strategies, Policies, Procedures,
Forms and Contracts.
• Preparing the annual, semi-annual, quarterly announcement for the BOD, Executive Mangers and Staff
regarding the Prohibition of Insider Trading.
• Coordinate with \ between QCB, QFMA inspectors, External Auditors and bank's management and
preparing the responses for their findings.
