Creating demand for products, assisting the creation of marketing plans, training, following the execution of the marketing plan, preparing printing materials and choosing suitable gimmicks.
I am responsible for diabetes line and created "how is your sugar? كيف سكرك؟" campaign. I am responsible for other lines such as neuro, antiallergics, and men's health line.
When I joined the company I was responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary medical knowledge to enable them to understand their products. This involves printed and electronic promotional material, product training, and relevant clinical papers.
Close liaison with the field force to assess the response to and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally.
With changes in the company strategy and needs I became responsible for training most products of United portfolio and in addition of preparing action plans and monitoring activities related to these products with the concentration on 6 major "strategic" products.
It was my responsibility to coordinate between insurance companies and its clients to benefit from our polyclinic group services. In addition to that, creating new opportunities with companies to self insure its employees.
In addition to my previous tasks as medical representative, I was deputized in Western Zone area office and acting supervisor for more than six months. I was responsible for communicating with the Saudi agent and helping colleagues to handle issues in promotion and sales, preparing meetings and events. I managed the office activities including daily report, data collection and analysis, sales reports, weekly meetings and new material training.
I was responsible for promoting Ophthalmology products to Ophthalmologists. Covering and managing sales and promotion activities in most important territories in Jeddah and major remote cities. The area covered included all major private hospitals in Jeddah, i.e. Erfan Hospital, Saudi German Hospital, GNP Hospital, Magrabi Hospitals.
From early 2007, CNS line was added to our Ophthalmology line due to structural changes with more responsibilities. Products promoted were Ophthalmology full range, Trileptal, Stalevo, Leponex, and Exelon.
I was promoting three major products: U-cef “Antibiotic”, Lowvasc “Anti hypertensive”, and Sivacor “Cholesterol Lowering agent”. My responsibility was to promote these products in major districts in Amman. Target doctors were ENT, Internists and Cardiologist.
