- Provide comprehensive engagement management, project management, and construction contract administration services for diverse projects.
- Act as an engagement manager for notable projects, including the Presidential Artisanal Gold Mining Development Initiative (PAGMI) Pilot Scheme in six states in Nigeria and an agro-mineral development project in Ebonyi State, Nigeria for the Solid Minerals Development Fund.
- Conduct business case research and development to support project feasibility assessments and decision-making processes.
- Perform detailed building and civil engineering quantities estimation to ensure accurate cost planning and budgeting.
- Prepare and administer construction contracts, including FIDIC, JCT, and NEC contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Effectively manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve project objectives within specified timelines and financial constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution and timely deliverables.
- Implement effective project and contract management methodologies to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with stakeholders, clients, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications relevant to quantity surveying, project management, and construction administration.
- Apply knowledge of the law of contracts and alternative dispute resolution methods to resolve contractual disputes and mitigate potential legal risks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in construction and quantity surveying to enhance professional knowledge and expertise.
