Project Description: The scope of construction contract works covers the demolition of existing buildings and construction, completion and maintenance of Masjids, Quran Teaching Centers and Imam Houses etc. for Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs. The Package (A) Project comprises of 16 Masjids complexes plus Islamic Centers.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Developing and preparing detailed and comprehensive Baseline Programme of works including loading resources, financial implications and all relevant contract requirements.
- Monitoring for updates schedule along with allocated resources and budget.
- Arranging files for follow up reports (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, and Monthly Reports) for clients and management.
- Arrange mitigation plan for the project during execution stage if it deviated out of the Baseline Schedule, Cost and Quality to support program delivery on time.
- Prepare cash flow and cost control reports over the duration of the project.
- Study of contracts and preparing claims documents using different methods such as TIA, IAP, ABA, etc.
- Prepare and submit Monthly Payment Certificate.

Project Description: Kahramaa Tower (5B + G + M + 19F + TF) is the main headquarters of the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation, built in Marina District - Lusail which is under plot Com-010 with an area of 8, 962 SM. The works comprise the construction, completion and maintenance of aniconic Office Tower, including excavation, piling, basement construction, main tower block, Elevator Works, Façade Works, External Landscape Works, and interior fit-out. The basement footprint occupies almost the entire site area. There are five basement levels comprising approximately 42, 200 SM. The tower building comprises Ground Floor Level, Mezzanine, Nineteen Office Floors and a Technical Floor of total approximate area 43, 080 SM. The floors are not uniform in size or shape. The total built up area is 85, 278 SM. Total Cost of the Project is QR. 493, 209, 372.67.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Creating and developing the master schedule with a view to advising client of any changes which may be required to optimize the master schedule to ensure that the proposed completion date shall be achieved.
- Creating and developing the Project Management Plans (PMP).
- Identify opportunities to reduce program time periods (fast tracking).
- Directly responsible for analyze the design, tender procedures, construction, installation, procurement, commissioning and simulations items, of the master schedule that are important to the critical path and recommend any adjustments required to optimize the master schedule in order to ensure that the proposed completion dates are achieved.
- Directly responsible for the updating of the master project schedule.
- Directly responsible for review and approval of the detailed schedules by Consultant/ Contractor(s); chairing all meetings and workshops for creating and developing WBS, reporting codes, cost systems (EVM)…etc.
- Directly responsible for reviewing detailed schedules updates by Consultant/ Contractor(s), preparing the monthly schedule portion of the Project Progress Report, including narrative and all scheduling update report.
- Provide recommendations, corrective and preventive actions to all parties, when actual progress deviates from scheduled progress so that work may be re-scheduled or accelerated to provide for on-time completion.
- Conduct analysis of alternatives and options in the programming of the works to allow “what if” considerations where market fluctuations, implementation of changes, and/or unanticipated events impact the design and construction schedule.
- Develop Monthly Reports for Client and Top Management, and directly responsible for reviewing and approving the progress reports submitted by Consultant/ Contractor.
- Participate regularly in all weekly progress meetings.
- Assist in reviewing the variation orders in terms of their time impact.
- Directly responsible for the development and implementation of cost control programs and procedures and preparation of narrative and cost control reports.
- Directly responsible for the collection and recording of proposed change, variation order, and claim status for the design consultant contracts and construction contracts.

Nile Ritz-Carlton Hotel, El-Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt
Project Description: The LE900 millions project comprised modernizing the existing hotel while retaining its architectural and interior design legacy and historic characteristics. Works included renovating the existing main building, which housed 331 guest rooms/suites and public areas; demolishing the office extension building and shopping mall; constructing a new conference/ballroom; and adding an underground parking garage. In addition, the hotel infrastructure and engineering building services were replaced with updated systems of the highest standard.
The total built‐up area was estimated at 64, 000 SM.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
-Prepare / Update Project Master Schedule.
-Review / Approve Contractor’s Detailed Programme of Works.
-Review, Assess, and analyze Extension of Time Claims and assisting in Cost Implications Analysis.
-Evaluate Impact for Delay or Slippage using different methods such as TIA, IAP, CAB, etc.
-Maintain, Update, and Monitoring Progress on Site and Provide recommendations for any leakage and how to improve performance on site.
-Review / Approve Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports submitted by Contractors.
-Develop Monthly Reports for Client and Top Management.
-Generate various types of reports progress, status, trends, variance, and KPI’s to reflect the status of project, often with visual aids such as bar charts and graphs.
