Develop of various types of financial models of equity for mergers, acquisitions, and capital raising transactions
Perform different valuation models i.e. Comparable Companies and DCF
Conduct preparation and review of materials used in the financing of clients, including investment memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books
Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions
Develop relationships with new and existing clients in order to expand the business.
• Monitoring on-going financial performance of ACGC & October Pharma, biggest 2 investments of SEII's portfolio companies, participating in specific value creation initiatives when appropriate, reviewing valuations of portfolio companies periodically
• Manage and work with 3rd party advisors, when relevant, to drive due diligence insights
• Contribute to investment recommendation and approval process, including drafting investment recommendations, presenting to investment committees and answering committee questions
• Support the negotiation and execution of agreements and other transaction-related legal documentation
• Support the monitoring and evaluation of potential exit alternatives
• Dealing with AUR's Investment Committee with regard to target & potential companies
• Working with the investment team to source, screen, research and complete the deal write-up of potential targets
• Conducting business plans, monitoring the financial & operating performance of portfolio companies
• Preparing the private placement memorandum of Papyrus Private Equity Tourism Fund
• Developing financial models (assumptions, costs, revenues, financial statements, scenarios, sensitivities, funding requirements, cash flow analysis) for start-up and operating companies
• Carrying out sectors’ analysis and forecasting for Egypt’s Investment Map that was launched by the Ministry of Investment in Egypt Economic Development Conference (EEDC)
• Preparing briefed reports & presentations for the minister, assistant minister and diverse high-level audiences, for example on the Doing Business reports, sectoral studies on cement tourism …etc.
• Performing economic analysis, and other financial analysis when required
• Developing and refining econometric modeling, statistical analysis, and forecasting
• Developing an internal investors ‘solving problems mechanism to accelerate solving investors’ pending problems
• Developing professional contacts with domestic & foreign investors
• Developing financial models (assumptions, costs, revenues, financial statements, scenarios, sensitivities, funding requirements, cash flow analysis) for start-up and operating companies
• Updating existing financial models
• Determining business plan sensitivities and their impact on financial projections
• Calculating NPV and IRR for the new capital projects
• Assisting subordinates in the preparation of industry reports
• Formulating comprehensive industry reports with current and recent updates for submission to domestic and foreign retail and institutional clients. Industries covered include the following: tourism, petrochemicals, cement, sugar, and steel
• Preparing thematic notes
• Preparing a monthly report on the global and local cement industry
• Engaging in ongoing equity research and financial analyses for few of the cement companies in the Egyptian marketplace
• Ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of investment ideas to strategists and clients
• Interacting extensively with sales team, institutional clients and firm management teams by providing the necessary information or conducting investment presentation
• Reviewing credit packages conducted by subordinates
• Assessing credit risk and establishing credit limits
• Preparing written credit-approval packages or denial correspondence for current and potential borrowers
• Conducting periodic review of material credit facilities granted and ensure changes in customer’s profile are updated in customer database accordingly
• Preparing a monthly compliance report for COPRLEASE to ensure the company's adherence to its approved credit policy
• Reporting directly to the Managing Director
• Gathering information through phone calls and site visits
• Facilitating proper documentation, credit check and approvals before opening of credit accounts
• Ensuring proper maintenance of all customers’ files - done on weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
• Developing financial and valuation models to evaluate operating performance and efficiency for companies working in the following sectors: pharmaceuticals, fertilizers, chemicals, steel and food & beverage. Valuation methods used are discounted cash flow, EVA and market multiples
• Providing stock recommendations and investment ideas to fund managers within the aforementioned sectors
• Conducting weekly presentations to fund managers outlining pressing economic concerns, market, and company specific news
• Developing detailed financial models
• Preparing equity research reports of cement, food and telecommunication companies in the Egyptian market place
• Conducting regular presentations to the trading desk
• Conducting in-depth financial analysis of corporate financial statements
• Assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies
• Assisting in the preparation of feasibility studies
• Assisting in the preparation of market research
