Management of all company projects.
Responsible for the overall project cycle from awarding to handover.
Responsible of team assignment and performance monitoring.

Production and agreement of project specific Execution Plans with Planner.
Facilitate and document project kick off meetings to establish a full understanding of the Contracted requirements by the project team.
Produce fully resourced project plans and deliverable schedules for each technical discipline including suppliers and subcontractor responsibilities that align with the key milestones, Sectional completion dates and deadlines to enable accurate performance tracking and on time completion of each section.
Maintain risk registers for all stages of the project and recommend/implement mitigating actions.
Maintain programme to monitor progress and change based on deliverables and milestones.
Carry out regular financial reviews and update the relevant systems to reflect the actual cost to completion status of the project.
Implement the monthly application, follow up process to ensure on time payment of invoices, and enhanced cash flow.
Carry out a minimum of fortnightly review meetings with the team and track outputs and actions utilising the project documents.
Produce a monthly project overview report for review by the Executive Management to include: (Programme, Financial, Contractual Technical, Risks, Supplier issues, Client Relationship)
Take the lead role in the design process meetings with Civil Contractors and produce actions and minutes for issue to all parties.
Manage the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with the company processes and the requirements identified within the contract Agreement
Manage the performance of Subcontractors and suppliers.
Manage the implementation of H&S requirements in accordance with current legislation and the procedures specified within the contract.
Implement measures to ensure compliance with the company internal Quality Procedures and the Clients Quality assurance.

AFC Installation Manager for Doha Metro Project

Management: 8 Site Engineers, 30 Technicians (including Sub-Contractors)

Organize and lead daily and weekly installation meetings with supervisors and subcontractors.
Respond to various customer correspondences during the project.
Plan and schedule of installation, testing and all other field activities.
Provide technical guidance for all installation activities done by the subcontractors.
Attend meetings with customer representative
Provide technical support for supervisors for all fields of activities
Manage all aspects of safety procedures.
Representative for the project in front of the customer.
Ensure that all employees comply with the Health and Safety requirements as detailed in the reference documents in the Project Management Plan
Prepare regular & progress reports status for the Delivery Project Manager.
Ensure all site installation drawings, documents, and SW releases are kept current to relevant revisions.
Ensure that “as-built” information is recorded as the work progresses and is submitted to the Delivery Project Manager for updating of documentation.
Schedule the activities of technical specialists of T&C who are on site to perform integration testing, trouble shooting and commissioning testing.
Schedule & Supports site testing during the integration and commissioning periods.

Schedule & Support training of customer testing, operations and maintenance staff with respect to the related control system.
Prepare action reports and ensure these are processed correctly and communicated to the Delivery Project Manager
Reporting any issue related to sub-contractor commitment and performance to the Delivery Project Manager

Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management. Determine project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors. Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; complete technical studies; preparing cost estimates. Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests. Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements. Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems. Control project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions. Control project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts. Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions. Maintain safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain project data base by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data. Maintain product and company reputation by complying with state regulations. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Responsible for the IT, Telecom, ELV, Electronic Security and Fire Alarm systems design contents as assigned together
with its follow-up for Authorities and Client's approval.
Responsible for chairing coordination meetings with the contractors to ensure that the intended design is
implemented Responsible for regular site visits to ensure installation standard is satisfactory. Liaison and coordination with all applicable Local Authority Departments to obtain approval at all stages of the project. Coordination with other Discipline Engineers (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical) as applicable Responsible for the design review of the IT, Telecom, ELV, Security and Fire Alarm services. Participation in design review meetings and workshops. If required. Preparation of meeting records, design review and design progress reports. Liaise with Local suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
