Responsibilities:
Finalizing client billing, in coordination with client engineers, as per work done at site
Certifying contractors’ payments based on contract clauses & specifications
Calculating quantity for preparation of bills of quantities based on supporting documents
Developing variation order upon exceed from BOQ and Non-BOQ for extra item (as per project requirement)
Creating quarterly, monthly, fortnightly, weekly & daily progress report considering contractors’ work program vs achievement
Reviewing & maintaining bank guarantee and insurance as per contract conditions
Avoiding repetition by maintaining strip chart of structures & roads
Appraising the value of proposed constructions or other structures already erected and preparing the valuation of progress and final payments in connection with any contract or sub-contract.
Analyzing subcontractor's terms & conditions for various risks such as ambiguities, conflicts or deviations from the scope of work.
Preparing the Bills and/or schedule of quantities of materials, labour and services required in the construction and equipment of building or engineering works.
Preparing the Micro Schedules and finalizing the construction methodologies for each project; planning and allocating manpower, equipments, material and controlling inventory.
Analyzing the technical drawings, specifications and conforming standards and customer requirements.
Preparing the budget & schedules; implementing various value engineering and cost control measures during various stages of the project, thereby achieving cost & time benefits.
Monitoring the project closely as per finalized layouts/ designs and within the scheduled timelines & budget.
Facilitating construction activities related to infrastructure including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction and coordinating with site management activities.
Preparing the entire activities related to BBS/ Site Survey for all the structures, preparation of BOQ from construction drawings, item-wise and contractor-wise extraction of quantities and preparation of measurement books for each structure.
Prepared monthly requisition statements for reinforcement steel along with the preparation of weekly status reports.
Prepared the MIS reports such as DPR and reconciliation statement of steel, cement etc.
Maintained close coordination with the HO, sub-contractors and Clients for planning the schedule and adjustments in case of deviation.
Prepared the Client Bill along with the supporting documents such as Joint Measurement sheets, pour records and BBS.
Thorough checking of Sub-contractor bill and certifying the amount.
Necessary planning and weekly updates for procurement of stazzing, shuttering and other materials.
Construction supervision of rehabilitation & upgradation of Himmatnagar-Shiloda Section of NH-8A.
• Supervised all road works like excavation, embankment, sub-grade, GSB & WMM laying, etc.
• Monitored daily work in compliance with approved method of statement.
• Ensured project progress in adherence to the assigned quantity and quality norms.
