• Play a critical role in leading technical Pre-Sales efforts and developing our go-to-market offerings.
• Managing and coordinating the development and delivery of technical solutions and services across the IT infrastructure that satisfies the business needs of our Clients (Vodafone, Orange, TE, Etisalat, Samsung Egypt, …. etc.).
• Spending more than 50% of the time in face-to-face discussions with the clients and working in conjunction with the larger pursuit team (Account Managers, Pro-Services, Pricing, …etc.) to deliver a winning solution.
• Play the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both implementation and upgrade projects for medium size projects or for a specific work stream in large projects.
• Manage a growing team of solution architects and engineers and establish the vision, plan and management framework that enables engineering to scale to meet the rapid growth trajectory of the business.
The plan should include:
• Strategy to support Pre-Sales engagement to include customer presentations and proposal content development
• Professional development plans with supporting training plans
• Lab development strategy for both internal training and external customer demos/POCs
• Approach to sustainable key certification compliance for major Vendors (DellEMC, HP, HITACHI, NUTANX, Commvault and AWS)
• Manage the creation of solutions and approaches in response to customer RFPs and RFIs and continually improve the quality of their deliverables
• Review and validate project artifacts, solution designs, estimates and sizing data for quality, accuracy, completeness and adherence to the original requirements and design parameters.
• Coordinate the development of offering artifacts including reference architectures, technical comparative analysis, system sizing and analysis, repeatable system configurations, implementation plans, conversion approaches

• Provide the leadership and support for a team of associates/seniors within an operations environment.
• My duties as an IT infrastructure consultant will vary depending on the nature of the project:
Technically Lead the IT Infrastructure Team to manage the infrastructure, and the underlying technologies
Clarifying a client's system specifications, understanding their work practices and the nature of their business
Identify and highlight technical risks.
Planning timescales and the resources needed

Troubleshooting and resolving the infrastructure related issues

Manage and operate the storage and network parts to Transition locally the hosted infrastructure to the Private cloud, configure cloud environments to meet our company’s needs, and architect systems for data management by Installing, configuring and provisioning the required projects/shares for the in-scope services
2. VFE Public Cloud_DRaas (End-2-End DellEMC Solution)
Manage and operate the storage and data replication parts in the AUC DRaas project by
- Handling the cloud computing services for VF’s external customer
- Installing, configuring and provisioning the required LIUNs for the in-scope services
3. End-to-End SAN infrastructure Automation Mega Project
Lead and manage the EMC ViPR Controller / SRM implementation & configuration to automate Storage provisioning & SAN End-to -End monitoring and reporting
4. DC Storage Virtualization Mega Project
Manage and operate the implementation of EMC VPLEX to virtualize 4 storage boxes - more than 50 systems (130 TB) including storage’s installation, design and configuration - as a phase of Mega Project (Virtual Data Center).
5. High-End storage migration Mega Project
Lead, plan and manage to migrate the mission critical services - like BI, Provisioning …. Etc. - from VMAX40K to EMC flash array (XtremIO)
6. Production Storage’s SAN Switches Migration
Lead, Manage and Operate the Online SAN Migration for the out of support SAN switches to a new SAN directors with zero impact on services.
7. DR Backup and SAN Consolidation
Lead, Manage and Operate the Online SAN Migration with zero impact on services. And Implement the NetBackup solution to protect against site loss
8. Low Cost Backup solution
Manage to implement the low-cost backup solution (CA ArcServe backup SW & HP StoreOnce backup appliance) for non-critical systems.
9. Data Center’ Backup Environment Consolidation Mega Project
Lead & Manage to migrate 50% of the in-scope systems from the old Veritas NetBackup environment to DellEMC Networker.

Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of computer procedures, system security, operating standards, maintenance requirements of peripherals and software
Trains Service Engineers on the ongoing production tasks
Execute ongoing operations and identify problems.
Interpret console messages from system software or application programs and performs required actions or reports them promptly to concerned team/staff
Perform the routine preventive maintenance and report all equipment breakdowns together with the necessary follow-up
Handle in/out media (back-up copies) with due care of integrity for data and supplies
Fulfill administrative requirements as assigned.
