Reporting to the Head of Transport Operations at EXPO 2023 DOHA, I oversee
and execute vital transport services, ensuring seamless movement for visitors
and staff. My role encompasses strategic planning, training, operational
management, and stakeholder liaison.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developed comprehensive transport plans to ensure efficient traffic
management during the event.
•Designed and conducted training programs for event staff, including
managers, coordinators, drivers, and traffic marshals.
• Managed the issuance of Vehicle Access Passes (VAPP) to facilitate
smooth entry and parking for over 10, 000 vehicles.
• Acted as the primary contact for the One Plan Platform, responsible for
mapping event routes.
• Prepared event plans for various activations, including opening and
closing ceremonies, national days, sports events, and festivals.
• Managed transport needs for participant countries, including airport
transfers.
• Led and managed transport operations, including the vehicle fleet, bus
services, golf cart operation, and traffic management.
• Reviewed budget allocation and identified areas for potential cost
savings through resource cross-utilization.
• Developed and implemented comprehensive Transport Operations and
Contingency Plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Liaised with internal and external stakeholders to effectively
communicate transport services and foster collaborative partnerships.
• Managed administrative operations for transportation across the office
and event park.
• Supervised a team of four managers responsible for various operational
areas, including MOFA, government, VIP, VVIP movements, and school
bus operations.
• Implemented tracking systems to collect data on operational activities,
including vehicle and VIP movements.
• Prepared shift schedules for drivers, managers, coordinators, and
marshals to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensured strict compliance with safety standards, prioritizing well-being
for all.

• Commanded a portfolio of key accounts. Strategized, managed, and expanded the entire business area as per organizational goals/ strategies.
• Chaired meetings, presentations, negotiations, and jobs for the company as well as for principals with savoir-faire and perfect control, reporting, and follow-up.
