My job as an intern case officer is assisting in conducting assessment of Testing and Calibration Laboratories that has been accredited by Kenya Accreditation Service and those seeking accreditation.
This involves competence assessment as per the requirements of the International Standards ISO/IEC 17025:2005
I also help in updating and securing the report on the findings from the assessment in the software Q-Pulse among other activities assigned in the Testing and Calibration Department.
I worked in Electrical maintenance section
Duties include:
Panel mounting
Hydro power station generator, flywheel and turbine bearing greasing
Steam boiler service
Service of medical oxygen generating plant
service of air compressors among other hospital machines.
Since the year 2012 i have studied a Degree in Instrumentation and Control and i did the following Units: Measurements and Instrumentation, Electrical Measurements and Testing,Electronics Testing and Reliability,Control 1,Control 2, Control 3,Instrumentation, Electronic Devices&Calibrations, Heat treatment and Material Testing, Telecommunications and Computer programming among other units. I also did a final year project on Micro controller application in streetlights management system. I graduated with a Second Class Honors(Lower Division) in June 2016
I studied in Nairobi School from January 2008 to November 2011 and obtained a mean grade of A-(Minus) with A(plain) in Physics and A(plain) in Mathematics and B+(plus) in English.
I obtained a total of 406 out of 500 marks in the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and was ranked the best student in the District and Division.
