• Management of the Planning and Scheduling Department. This includes monitoring and management of resources, allocation of resource to projects and proposals, maintaining and developing the proficiency of Department personnel
• Responsible for the development of the region’s standards and procedures and ensuring that the standards are at par with the best practices recognized in the area of Planning and Scheduling.
• Ensure the role of an advisor for project and proposals.
• Preparation of Schedules and Planning packages for all major Projects
• Project Control Manager for ORYX Projects and OXY MSA projects responsible for Planning and Cost related activities
• Responsible for checking and approval of all Planning related documents (schedule, Document registers, Construction reports etc.) for all ongoing projects within the organization
• Ensure Planning and Scheduling feedback and lessons learnt during project execution
• Review and approval of Schedules for all proposals
• Functionally manage the Project Planning team or the Proposal Planning team
• Ensure project schedules are in line with the execution strategy
• Assumes the role of Lead Planner for all major projects.
• Responsible for Cost and Planning activities for OPQL projects with the role as Lead Project Control Engineer
• Responsible for review and update of Cost reports, Variation registers and Change management for OPQL projects.
• Preparation of Delay analysis and Extension of Time analysis

• Planning, scheduling and monitoring of engineering, procurement
and construction activities for EPCM and FEED projects using
Primavera P6/P3.
• Preparation of Overall Project schedule and carry out periodic
updates, identify critical areas and develop corrective actions.
• Preparation of manpower histograms and manpower deployment
schedule for various EPIC and FEED projects
• Preparation of S-curves and periodic updation
• Define, Update and Maintain the Planning & Scheduling system
(procedures, time-schedules, physical progress, dashboards, etc)
• Define the Project breakdown structures
• Plan in order to mitigate risks and reduce costs
• Preparation of Deliverable plan for Engineering including detailed
Document status register.
• Attend periodical progress meeting with the client, project team,
subcontractors and vendors to discuss project performance,
deliverables status, progress status, areas of concern & corrective
action to be taken
• Preparation of Level 3 Schedule for the EPC / FEED project
proposals, identification & analysis of critical paths, preparation of
proposal exhibits, preparation of man power histograms and “S”
curves and coordination to prepare the proposal exhibits of all the
packages of the proposal
• Coordinate with various discipline leads for the submission of the
deliverables as per schedule
• Ensure timely execution of the project and control of budgeted
man-hours for the project
• Carry out Delay Analysis and Preparation of Delay Register
• Review of Construction schedule prepared by Subcontractors for
EPIC projects
• Coordinate with subcontractors for smooth execution of the
Construction activities
• Provide feedback and lessons learned in order to improve the
Planning & Scheduling methods and provide input to the statistics
of Planning department

Project Planning with Primavera P6 / P3, MS Project, AUTOCAD
• Planning, scheduling and monitoring of engineering, procurement and construction activities for major EPIC projects in Oil & gas and Petrochemical industries
• Coordinate with various discipline leads for the submission of the deliverables as per schedule
• Ensure timely execution of the project and control of budgeted man-hours for the project
• Preparation of Tender Planning Package, with S-curve and Manpower Histograms
• Identify critical areas of the project and ensure focus on the same
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for quotes on various multidisciplinary items required for the EPIC of the project
• Analyzing of productivities based on base line schedule
• Responsible for preparation of EPIC schedules and EPIC cost estimate reports
• Attend weekly meetings with the client, project team, subcontractors and vendors discussing project performance, deliverables, progress status, areas of concern & corrective action to be taken

• Coordination of all technical/site construction activities
• Preparation of Daily reports and update Production and technical
group on the progress of the project
• Liaising with Vendors for timely delivery of the equipment, piping,
electrical and Instrument items.
• Supervision of fabrication and erection of piping, structure and rotary/static equipments working to ASME, AWS, API, ISO standards and Company/Client specifications.
• Coordination of all site construction activities taking Safety as the first priority.
• Coordination with various contractors for safe execution of the various projects.
• Coordination with Engineers of various disciplines to get the design package reviewed and approved.
• Preparation of Job safety analysis and organize design reviews and JSA meetings.
• Supervision of various fabrication works and erection of various pipelines.
• Preparation of detailed project schedule and various lifting plans.

1. Review of FEED development and complete engineering by the consultant for all discipline.
2. Approve specifications for procurement action and placement of Purchase orders for technically evaluated vendor.
3. Review of P & ID’s, PFD’s, GA & isometric drawings. Review & approval of vendor GA drawings of mechanical valves involved in the project.
4. Documentation of drawings, specifications & datasheets concerned with all disciplines.
5. Preparation of bulk material take-off list.
6. Creating Project dossiers.
