Field Operations Manager for Sonahess Organization (JV Sonatrach - Hess), coordinating oil Plant and fields operations activities of El Gassi Brownfields in Hassi Messaoud Basin, region of Algeria, reporting to the Operations Manager. I’m responsible for the overall safe and efficient day to day operations including plant, well production, well operations, and projects activities by:

•Managing day to day safe operations on processing plant and wells with producing 45, 000bopd of oil & condensate, treating & injecting 150 million cfpd of gas and 65, 000bwpd of water, and supporting process team in troubleshooting operational issues
•Working on processing facilities debottlenecking, and assisting in-house engineering team in multi-discipline revamping projects and modifications to El Gassi oil Brownfields, provide guidance to supervision teams in engineering and construction performed by contractors
•Providing assistance and support to production engineers on well production and operations: artificial lifting engineering & implementation, well performance review, production optimization, stimulation, coil tubing, workover, welltesting, slickline, wireline, MPLT, fishing, well integrity, and maintenance of flowline & wellhead
•Ensuring procedures and instructions for all operation activities are prepared and understood by the personnel, and performed in compliance with HSE policies and procedures
•Working with corrosion team to ensure a good contractor management on the treatment and the monitoring of corrosion. Participating in the selection of chemical products through evaluation of supplier’s proposal, and lab & field tests of their products
•Working closely with Inspection team on work planning preparation, supervision of various inspection performed by contractor and assisting in implementing new inspection technologies by experts to improve equipment and pipeline network integrity
•Ensuring curative and preventive maintenance completion on the plant according to schedule. Ensuring availability of material and spare parts through a min-max stock level management
•Participating in plant pre-shutdown meeting and providing support on shutdown operation
•Checking and approving daily production reports, weekly internal reports and monthly reports to partners and relevant governmental authorities
•Overseeing Opex and Capex operations budgets, submitting them to partners approval and managing them in accordance with budget expectations
•Working closely with Training Department to ensure assessment and improvement of personnel competences in processing, wells operations, and in HSE topics
•Participating in QRA and HAZOP studies
•Promoting HSE behavior. Participating in the development and implementation of HSE systems to deliver continuous improvement. Ensuring compliance to HSE procedures through PTW system for all plant and field activities
•Working closely with HR team for Operations organization review, resources forecast & recruitment, and personnel career development
•Working closely with procurement and logistics teams on technical bid evaluation review and approval, scope of work preparation, services and material contracts preparation & management
