Role: Store Management
• Conducting analysis of slow moving/ fast moving goods; overseeing stores management including day-to-day activities like receipts, storage, issues and disposition as well as management of supply chain
• Managing incoming (receiving) & outgoing material (material sent on job work) activities and ensuring distribution of stock commodities to various manufacturing centres

Supply Chain Management
• Managing supply chain for distributing goods to the User Unit for achievement of targets within specified parameters
• Maintaining a strong communication chain between the different divisions in order to receive inquiries about status of materials, requisition, dispatch and delivery status

Purchase
• Interfacing with cross-functional departments for drafting procurement plans of various equipment; handling budget and planning the funds for procurement & sourcing of materials
• Ensuring optimum utilization of materials, maximum cost savings and meeting anticipatory orders for monthly operations; handling and maintaining inventory required for spare parts


Logistics & Dispatch Operations
• Leading logistics operations involving coordination with freight forwarders, transporters, C&F agents and other external agencies to achieve seamless transport solutions
• Handling fleet of vehicles & transporters for ensuring on-time delivery and monitoring transit norms


• Played a key role in reducing the cost of the raw materials/ inventory by taking periodic stock report of non moving items and forwarding to management
• Holds the merit of implementing computerised documentation systems in the organisation to ensure proper documentation of receipts & invoices
• Successfully developed & implemented Min / Max levels, EOQ initiatives to streamline the inventory function
• Efficiently managed to identify & record supplier discrepancy by raising non conformity reports and passing the info to vendors and following up for corrective actions
