• Inspection of Instrumentation at project for Junction Boxes, Instrument Cables, Gauges, Wiring & Terminations, Cable Trays, Cable Laying, Fire Alarm System, Loop Check, Termination Check & Calibration of Instruments.
• Inspection of some of the equipment and materials are All types of Transmitters, Radar gauges, DCS & PLC Panels, Automation Panels, Control and Relay Panels, MCCs, Motors, Transformers, Generators, Bus-Bars, MOVs, DBBVs, ROSOVs, Grounding Cables, Optic Fiber Cable, Instrument Grounding Cable, Cable Racks, Cable Trays, Trenches, Earthing, etc., Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning Tests, Warehouse Receiving Material including, Grounding Cables, Hardware, Channels, Angles, Sheets, Pipes, Relays, Fuses, Contactors, Am-meters, Voltmeters, VFDs, CCTVs, HCDs, Electronics Equipment, & Fire Fighting & Safety Equipment.
• Installation, Commissioning and Integration of the automation system, configured server according to the customer requirements.
• Performed troubleshooting of SCADA points, and Installation, Commissioning and Integration of PLC, communication, batch controllers, Hydro Carbon Detectors, Servo Gauges, PD Meters, DCV’s, MOV’s, Radar Gauges, Pressure Transmitters, Barrier Gates, Reports etc.
The following are the accountabilities, role and responsibilities but are not limited to,
•To support and render engineering assistance for the project engineering activities as PMC.
•Project Documentation: Preparing Agendas, Project Schedules, MOM’s, SOR, MR, Procedures and other related documents along with preparation for Functional Document Specifications (FDS), Design drawing, Vendor drawings, Material Handling & drafting and Testing procedures, Letters, Procurement details & preparation of IO Lists, Cable schedules, JB Schedules, Layouts etc...
•Terminal Automation System is regarding the design and construction of project, Integration of all field equipment like ROSOVs, DBBVs, MOVs and RGCS. Any modification activities in project configuration or facilities during project implementation and post project implementation.
•Involve in the project implementation decisions (associating together with respective area project teams) to be taken from time to time so that in and out of the project is within the knowledge of the engineering group.
•Maintain centrally the engineering documents of the project for future reference during expansion or carrying out any debottlenecking jobs during plant operation.
•Will be the custodian of all the project documents for future reference/use.
•Coordination with all engineering consultants for the delivery of engineering in time (presently not in scope)
Controls and Automation engineer with the role of designing and developing software for drilling applications based on given requirements and specification.
• Control software development will also include developing machine control algorithms for PLC based systems. HMI design and implementation, instrumentation and sensor interface, data logging, and communication interfaces with other industrial processors like PLC’s.
• Duties will include generation of Design documentation, PLC Code, HMI applications, Bill of Materials, Network Architectures, One Line Drawing, Operations manuals
Carrying out the installation and servicing of CCTV, DVR, and Access Control System.
•Involved in the servicing of attendance system, fire alarm system, public address system, intruder & video door & ID card protection system.
