Job Role:
• Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
• Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
• Prepare project organization and communication charts.
• Chair progress meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members.
• Track the progress and quality of work being performed by design disciplines/trades.
• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.
• Ensure client’s needs are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Review field inspection reports from Consultants throughout the lifecycle of the project
• Assist the PM in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval.
• Prepare substantial completion certificates and ensure all required project close out documents are obtained.
• Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
• Keep the Project Manager (PM) and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations.
Job Role:
• Schedule for drawing release based on clients requirement.
• Design Quality Plan preparation which briefly covers the Codes and Specifications to be used and schedule for the drawings & documents submittals.
• Checking of general arrangement and detail drawing on the basis of Architectural Drawing.
• Verification of test results from the laboratory.
• Prepare 2-D/3-D drawings and models to facilitate the construction of the structure.
• Review Design and Detailing carried out by Vendors / Subcontractors.
• Preparation of Documents/Design Calculation.
• Facilitated smooth execution of projects by attending regular progress meetings with clients and visiting construction sites.
• Managing, supervising and visiting contractors on site.
• Developing detailed designs advising on civil engineering issues.
• Providing support in resolving routine technical problems of the design office.
• Responsible for closing out Request for Inspections (RIT) and Request for Information.
• Investigating the properties of materials like steel and concrete, and advising which may be most suitable.
• Project Material Approval checking.

• Primary responsibility includes, providing assistance in the production of engineering design, development of conceptual design and detail in accordance with preparation of calculations, project requirements, checking of contract drawings and written reports. Was mostly involved in Blue city project. Had to leave the company since the project for which I was recruited got shelved because of recession.

Started out as junior site engineer, worked with diversified projects in civil engineering namely projects related to residential & commercial.
Project Control / Execution
• Responsible for day to day site work.
• Follow up with site engineers of Contractor and/or subcontractor to ensure that work is being carried out as per design drawings, specifications & meeting planned dates in schedule.
• Interact with Project Manager for clarification in design/ RFI etc.
• Daily reporting about progress, non-compliance, delay in work to the Project Manager.
• Ensure that Communication regarding any changes in plan have reached the engineers/Contractors and/or Sub-Contractor’s Representatives.
• Conducting regular job site inspections.
• Actively monitor the work environment for hazards.
• Assist in necessary project documentation.
• Monitor evaluates and ensures that all work is being carried out safely.
