Main Objectives:
Being the Supervisor Engineer for the Application Team for the Western Region, KSA; the main job role is to develop and guarantee the best performance of the Application Design Department in order to support the Unitary and Applied Sales Engineers or directly the Regional Sales Manager. This continual successful performance will be achieved by setting goals and objectives, providing assistance and support, creating climate for motivation and a supportive working relationship, emphasizing continuing development and providing opportunities for future
growth and advancement.
Brief List of Responsibilities:
-Direct and control the functioning of the department and distribution of tasks; accelerate the performance of work and problem/complaints resolving.
-Assign certain duties to the application engineer in the team, explaining how those duties are to be done and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured.
-Track and manage projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
-Follow-up communications with other company departments for proper utilization of updated technical resources in order to reflect the same in the technical submittals to the clients.
-Conduct technical review of product range and specifications.
-Provide consultancy to different segments of customers, contractors and consultants.
-Attend technical meetings with customers to provide our offers, meet their demands and resolve the outstanding issues.
-Coordinate with sales engineers to overcome the technical problems, offer advices and provide necessary help.
-Prepare reports related to department record, performance evaluation, and job results of the crew.
-Analyze competitor product designs & cost in order to acquire a realistic assessment which shall serve as reference tool in future submission of quotations / cost analysis.
-Conduct a technical review of product range and specifications.
-Conduct analysis of competitor products in terms of its strength, weakness, cost and opportunities.
-Prepare comparison reports based on analysis / review.
-Keeping track on latest competitor new products series, and technology and inform Engineering department about it.
-Carefully review the quotation/offer prepared by each Application Engineer in terms of proper selection of equipment taking into consideration meeting consultant and/or project specification as well cost effectiveness to compete with other suppliers.
-Listen to customer complaints and try to find best technical solution to resolve it.
-Review and comply with major Saudi Market Key accounts/sectors (Aramco, SEC, MOH, MOHE, MOI etc..)
-Verifying ZAC HVAC selection software, AQS, Oracle frequently making sure that there are no errors that may cause issues in manufacturing.
-Respond directly to any Regional Sales Manager query, clarification, report, etc.

A)HVAC SYSTEMS DESIGN:Calculate and design the HVAC equipment system, based on the provided details / information of the customer, in order to provide the optimal configuration of the system to be installed to the given detailed structure.
1. Choose the best possible option to propose.
2. Inquiries with specific mention of cooling / heating capacity required and specific mention of product equipment details evaluate the effectiveness of the said unit on the indicated structure and provide recommendations to the Sales Manager for possible corrections.
B)SALES QUOTATIONS:Prepare the Sales Quotation based on the designed equipment / system and calculate the price / charge to be made in order to maximize profit within a reasonable level.
1. Estimate equipment / HVAC system cost based on several factors (including but not limited to cost of materials, delivery cost, degree of customization etc.) and provides the best terms within a reasonable profit margin.
2. Include selection and estimation of spare parts upon the request of the customer, dependent on the provision / specific mention of product type / model and part name / number / model in the request.
3. Revise quotations upon specific request for change by the customer and upon approval of the Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager.
4. Provide technical assistance and information on products and system designs features, specifications, capacity and applicability.
5. Attend customer related meetings along with the Sales team.
C) EQUIPMENT PRODUCTION: Initiate the production processing of the agreed product equipment, upon receipt of the Purchase Order / Letter of Intent, in order to timely start the production of the required equipment.
1. Upon confirmation of receipt of Purchase Order / Letter of Intent from the customer, prepare the Sales Order and submit to the Sales Manager for approval.
2. Record and files all the relevant details in the Purchase Order for future reference.
3. Submit all copies of the documentation to the Sales Coordinator for timely coordination with the relevant parties.
D) Internal Customer Satisfaction
Ensure internal customer satisfaction rating covering the support from the Area Managers

E) Factory Visit
Accompany Customers for inspection for their ordered equipment in our Factory, 2nd Industrial Plant.
F) Attending different Training Courses inside ZAC

Provide Technical support to the Sales Team through the calculation, design and estimation of the product equipment system in line with the Sales Strategy and Company Policies and Procedures in order to ensure a successful product proposal and delivery.
