Main Objectives:
Being the Supervisor Engineer for the Application Team for the Western Region, KSA; the main job role is to develop and guarantee the best performance of the Application Design Department in order to support the Unitary and Applied Sales Engineers or directly the Regional Sales Manager. This continual successful performance will be achieved by setting goals and objectives, providing assistance and support, creating climate for motivation and a supportive working relationship, emphasizing continuing development and providing opportunities for future
growth and advancement.
Brief List of Responsibilities:
-Direct and control the functioning of the department and distribution of tasks; accelerate the performance of work and problem/complaints resolving.
-Assign certain duties to the application engineer in the team, explaining how those duties are to be done and communicate how the successful performance of those duties will be measured.
-Track and manage projects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
-Follow-up communications with other company departments for proper utilization of updated technical resources in order to reflect the same in the technical submittals to the clients.
-Conduct technical review of product range and specifications.
-Provide consultancy to different segments of customers, contractors and consultants.
-Attend technical meetings with customers to provide our offers, meet their demands and resolve the outstanding issues.
-Coordinate with sales engineers to overcome the technical problems, offer advices and provide necessary help.
-Prepare reports related to department record, performance evaluation, and job results of the crew.
-Analyze competitor product designs & cost in order to acquire a realistic assessment which shall serve as reference tool in future submission of quotations / cost analysis.
-Conduct a technical review of product range and specifications.
-Conduct analysis of competitor products in terms of its strength, weakness, cost and opportunities.
-Prepare comparison reports based on analysis / review.
-Keeping track on latest competitor new products series, and technology and inform Engineering department about it.
-Carefully review the quotation/offer prepared by each Application Engineer in terms of proper selection of equipment taking into consideration meeting consultant and/or project specification as well cost effectiveness to compete with other suppliers.
-Listen to customer complaints and try to find best technical solution to resolve it.
-Review and comply with major Saudi Market Key accounts/sectors (Aramco, SEC, MOH, MOHE, MOI etc..)
-Verifying ZAC HVAC selection software, AQS, Oracle frequently making sure that there are no errors that may cause issues in manufacturing.
-Respond directly to any Regional Sales Manager query, clarification, report, etc.
