FINAL YEAR PROJECT: A PROCESS CONTROL PROTOTYPE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION USING SCADA AND PLC The objective of this project has been to understand, design and implement a prototype SCADA system. In this project a four floor building model was made. It had features like intrusion detection, cooling fans, lighting, elevator control and parking management systems. All systems were monitored by data logging from the sensors. TraceMode 6 was used as tool for SCADA implementation. It served for monitoring and control in the scope of project. CX programmer was used for programming; Omron PLC was interfaced with Trace Mode 6. Achievements: The project was well appreciated during evaluation and resulted in excellent marks in examination. The project was also placed in a nationwide EMCOT exhibition and received much appreciation
