Lead Project Engineer
- Represents QP as the Nominated Representative for Contract Administration of the Assigned Multi discipline Projects. Supervise & Manage Senior Project Engineers & Construction Teams.
- Responsible to Sections assigned Projects for the Complete Project Life Cycle.
- Lead Project Team for preparation of Technical Deliverables & Contract Documents for FEED & EPC contracts.
Lead preparation of Project Execution Strategy, Identify PMO Resources & Requirements.
- Lead Project Team & Manage Tender Process, Recommendation/ Submissions to Tender Committee and Clarification/Negotiations with Contractors.
- Ensure Implementation of QRA, HAZID, HAZOP recommendations & Risk Assessment Studies.
- Manage Engineering Designs Development through Basic to Detailed Engg.
- Monitor and Report Progress and Quality of Construction works to ensure that Project Schedule, Budget and Scope Objectives are met.
- Approve Invoices against Progress, Terms & Conditions in Contracts; Assess the Acceptability of Contract Variations and Claims.
- Resolve Contractual, Personnel, Technical and other Project related problems. Evaluate issues considering Financial, Schedule & Technical impact to the project and Company.
- Frequent Interaction with Stakeholders, External Contractors & other Local Government Agencies.
Senior Project Engineer
- Responsible to assigned Projects from Initiation, Budget Approval, Conceptual Design, Planning, Tendering, Execution, Contracts Management to Completion / Commissioning, Handover and Close out.
- Represents QP as the Nominated Deputy representative for Contract Administration of the Assigned Projects.
- Manage & co-ordinate preparation of Scope, Drawings, and Technical Specifications & Contract Documents for FEED & EPC contracts.
- Prepare Project Execution Strategy; & Manage Tender Bid Evaluation, Coordinates Tender Issuance, Prepare Recommendations, Submissions to Tender Committees and Clarification/Negotiations with Contractors.
- Co-Ordinate Implementation of HAZOP recommendations & Risk Assessment Studies.
- Manage Engineering Designs Development through Basic to Detailed Engg.
- Expedite timely Procurement with Vendors & Sub-Contractors
- Monitor and Report Progress and Quality of Construction works to ensure that Project Schedule, Budget and Scope Objectives are met.
- Validate Invoices against Progress, Terms & Conditions in Contracts
Review and Assess the Acceptability of Contract Variations and Claims.
- Dealing with different Technical Queries with prompt decision-making & Time Management.
- Resolve Contractual, Technical and other Project related problems. Evaluate issues considering Financial, Schedule & technical impact to the project.
- Focal point in Interaction with Stake Holders, External Contractors & other Local Government Agencies.
Managing Pre-Contract and Post-Contract Works in accordance to the PMBOK.
Produce Scope of Works, Cost Estimates, Tender Documents and Bid Evaluations for the Civil Works package related to NGL plant and development of Compressor Station, Utilities Block and NGL train.
Managing the project in compliance to the Safety Hazards & Restrictions of an NGL plant.
Review and Approval of Contractor Design/Drawings submittals, Project Supervision, Progress Review Meetings, Monthly Bills & Invoices.
Review Project Reports, Cost Control/Claims and Progress Schedules.
Co-Ordination with NGL Plant Operations, Maintenance, Utilities dept and other Operating Companies (ADCO) to ensure accuracy of Inter Related Functions and Safety of the plant.
Prepare and Complete Close out Project documentation including settlement of Final Accounts.
Design, Analysis & Drawings of R.C. & Steel Structures.
Preparation of Specifications, Scope of Work, Material Take Off’s & Cost Estimate.
Project Co-Ordination/Correspondence with Clients, Contractors & Authorities.
Production of Project Control/Project Planning Schedules, Staff Hour Forecast/Control and attend weekly Project review meetings.
Co-Ordination with other disciplines to ensure accuracy of inter-related functions.
Site Survey visit including Techno-Commercial studies.
Compilation of Discipline Package to Tender Status & Technical Evaluation of Construction Package.
Review & Appraisal of Sub-Contractors' Submittals & Material Requisitions.
Review of Specific Project Scopes & Highlight Contract Variations.
Review, Appraisal & Imply of Company Quality Procedures/Standards in Civil Department.
