Mechanical Design Engineer of Rotating Equipment for Petroleum, Petrochemical and Natural Gas

Under Mechanical Department in Direction Engineering / SONATRACH . Position includes carrying out Engineering for Procurement of Rotating equipment and other related technical services for various jobs undertaken by Direction Engineering. Performing the following activities in accordance with the applicable procedure(s) and the Quality Plan of the group:
* Basic Engineering Inputs for Feasibility Studies, Basic Process Design and Engineering Design Basis for EPC Packages as well as Detailed Engineering Jobs.
* Input to applicable Technical Annexures of Invitation to Bid (Cahier de Charge), Technical Evaluation & Alignment of bidder’s offers, Review of EPC Contractor’s / Supplier’s Drawings for EPC Packages.
* Preparation of Material Requisition (MRQ), Technical evaluation of supplier’s offers, Preparation of Purchase Requisition (MRP) and Supplier’s Drawing review for Detailed Engineering Jobs.
* Troubleshooting at site.
* Shop and Field Quality Control Services for Rotating Equipment. This primarily includes assistance to the customer during witness testing of equipments at shop and field/site.

-Mechanical Compliation, Start up Plant Procedure, Commissioning and Performance Test.

-LNG PLANT REVAMPING PROJECT
- Cryogenic Submerged Motor Pump ( LNG Tank- Skikda)
- Joint venture Specifications of propane dehydrogenation and one of propylene polymerization for a capacity of 500 KTA project with TOTAL
- Two (02) 150 T/H boilers at LNG2Z
- Basis Engineering Design (FEED class 4 / deliverables reviewing) - Hydrocracker Complex and a Naphtha Treatment Complex
- Clarification requests from bidders for the realization of a 5 MT / year refinery with AMEC FOSTER WHEELER
- intent to bidder (cahier des charges) for LNG jetty FEED's
- Evaluation bid analysis for boiler EPC contract
During my last position, I worked as Static Equipment Maintenance Engineer at LNG plant :
- Great working experience of facility layouts and static equipment.
- Familiarity with codes, standards and recommended practices for static equipment.
- Ability to outline design packages
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Administered mechanical project teams and outlined the scope of work
- Analyzed drawings and test procedures as well as maintained project quality system
-coordination with engineers, consultants
-Jobleader of an overhaul of static equipments for testing according the algerian authority code of the LNG unit.
Regulation inspection / Non-destructive testing (NDC) of pressure vessels according to Algerian law authority and code/Standards, Regulation - boilers, heat exchangers, vessels, tanks...etc
