To own and manage all aspects of the Supply Chain last mile activities from the suppliers & warehouse locations to stores, ensuring effective SOP's are in place across all activities where required
➢To own and manage the Logistic Supply Chain logistic costs for markets with AOR and report insights into performance on a monthly basis.
➢Act as key POC across all Logistic disciplines in the Division (Shipping, Compliance & Logistics)
➢Source new items and negotiate best price in line with purchasing strategies with local suppliers and distributors
➢Manage the day to day relationship with local suppliers and distributors
➢To own the invoice activities for the division, ensuring processing and payments are completed in line with the Alshaya Group requirements
➢Be a Leader to a diverse and culturally different team
➢Manage the SOS platform for the region ensuring SLA's are achieved
➢Monthly review of the Logistics cost to serve dashboard reports and highlight cost related inefficiencies to central teams, while proposing possible solutions to offset costs where appropriate
➢Ensure Logistics costs are always optimized and kept at minimal for ageing stock, stock write off, stock on hold, demurrage, etc.
➢Work with Group freight teams on various freight routes and costs, to explore more efficient and cost-effective routes to markets
➢Support the selection, appointment and implementation of distribution partners through effective 3PL tender management
➢Manage and run the brand cost split model for costing variance and Logistics costs
➢Collaborate with Finance and Brand teams (when required) on Key Financial Ratios KFR related to Logistics and cost of goods
➢Support the business to ensure Distributors and Service providers consistently deliver required products on-time and in-full within date sensitive tolerances, to stores or direct
➢Regularly communicate with main international consolidators and ensure supply expectations are met and improvement solutions are provided
➢Quarterly reviews are completed across both Shipping & Logistic activities to identify opportunities for improvement and recognise where activities are working well
➢Invoices are processed as per the current Alshaya Group SOP and regular updates on performance are shared
➢Supplier performance is measured regularly, with actions taken to improve performance that is below expectation and recognition where service is outstanding
➢Ensure best value products are provided to the brands within the market(s)
➢Review and align SOP's with both, internal and external customers
➢Maintain a directory of local suppliers/product solutions to be used as temporary solution in the case of supply failure from main approved supplier
➢Regularly seek and review feedback from stores and distribution centres and work to resolve issues raised
➢Provide oversight and direction to team members in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
➢Clear Goals and performance requirements are provided to each team member.
➢Empower team members to take responsibility for their jobs and goals.
➢Delegate responsibility & accountability and provide regular feedback is provided to each team member to discuss performance and support requirements for their role.
➢Bi-annual performance reviews are completed and recorded as per the Alshaya Group's requirements.
➢Training and support is applied across the team where required.
➢Liaise with Recruitment & HR to recruit, interview, select, hire, and employ when required
