Roles & Responsibilities:
Issuing Purchase order to Suppliers in accordance with company policies and negotiated terms & conditions.
Manage all products delivery schedules and shipping documents for relating parties
Facilitate the shipping of goods from one destination to another and Liaise closely with Freight Forwarders to move goods (by road, air or sea) in accordance with Delivery requirements.
Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs.
Effective Follow with the cleaning agent for the status of clearing and ensure all materials are delivered promptly and accurately to the warehouse. Receive the necessary shipment reports and other related documents, Coordinate with finance team for costing.
Communicate with the Supplier/Forwarder for defective and unacceptable goods delivery to identify and take corrective & preventive actions.
Tracking the production status from the international suppliers based on the purchase order and aligning the shipping schedules, Preparing MIS report of the same on the weekly and monthly basis. Effective Distribution follow-up and tracking materials through depots to make sure they arrive at the destination outlets within the stipulated time.
Analyse and monitor supply chain operations. Liaise with the freight forwarder, International suppliers and relevant parties on logistics matters.
• Receive incoming shipments and ensure that all associated paperwork is present.
• Assure that shipping and receiving counts match their correlating order documents.
• Schedule inbound and outbound freight and ensure that appropriate staff is allocated to each process.
• Ensuring that delivery vehicles are unloaded and loaded safely.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials supplies and resolve any associated discrepancies.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to determine catalog numbers, sizes and quantity of orders to be pulled.
• Ensuring storage locations; storing, stacking or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Prepare and keep records of product shipped.
• Directed and supervised material handling staff and transportation team, as required.
• Handled vendor violation issues and coordinated all product returns to vendors.
• Oversaw and assisted with routine inventory audits and verification activities.
• Addressed and resolved material-related quality issues and transactions, efficiently.
• Supervised regular cleaning of warehouse premises and ensure workplace safety.
• Ensuring the 5S culture is maintained inside the warehouse.
