· Plans, schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on small to medium scale projects (or
distinct portions of larger projects), with periodic interaction with the Discipline Lead.

· Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Interior Designers and Technicians on daily basis and ensure that
design excellence is achieved throughout.

· Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a
project.

· Develop a thorough project delivery strategy.
· Produce detailed scope of services for specialist sub-consultant.
· Lead the design work ensuring project objectives are met, design instructions are implemented and delivery

is achieved within the set time and budget.
· Responsible for the correctness, accuracy and complete multi-disciplinary coordination of the design

documentation prepared by the assigned team.
· Coordinate and develop responses to review comments, tender queries, contractor's queries, etc.
· Responsible, with guidance from Senior team members, for the preparation and compilation of design

presentations and design reports.
· Responsible for coordinating QA/QC and review processes on each project responsible

Duties and Responsibilities - Quality control and Development Department

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards, application laws and regulations to ensure the Project Management Section is operating according to best practices and conforms to Kuwait law and regulations.

• Oversee and supervise projects and perform filed visits/inspections to ensure their timely and cost effective completion.

• Consult with architects, electromechanical engineers and other technical workers to make sure that project designs and contractor work meet set of specifications.

• Coordinate with Planning Engineer to ensure the projects are on schedule as planned and to notify senior management of any deviations from plan.

• Liaise with Al-Tijaria Engineers working with contractors and professional services offices ensuring that suppliers understand Al-Tijaria project needs, requirements and standards and that work is cost effective and delivered to agree upon deadlines and specifications.



• Make sure that building regulations, standards and by-laws are enforce in building operations for Al-Tijaria projects.

• Coordinate with Development to clarify any issues regarding projects under construction.

Duties and Responsibilities - Projects and Project Control Department

• Supervise the construction of Al-Tijaria projects and ensuring the timely completion according to specification and responsible for project documentation, quality checks, monitoring, and project coordination and progress meetings.
• To prepare, develop and edit drawings, images and other documents required by the Municipality.
• To develop, where required, representations of design options for further discussions by the Director and CRC.
• To take responsibility, where required by the Director, for specific areas of designs and project development.
• To provide detailed drawings and assist Engineers where required by FM Department and Project Control Department.
• Provide support for any task required for the successful completion of the project.
• Carry out site surveys, prepare drawings, capacity and suitability for reference, and project planning purposes.

• Prepare design concepts and schematic arrangement drawings from the approved concept design and integrate the special requirement of the other disciplines (Structural and MEP) in the schematic drawings.
• Prepare the statutory authority drawings, including FAR calculations and identification of spatial functions and areas as required by the local authorities.
• Prepare the design development drawings in conjunction with the other disciplines.
• Prepare construction Drawings and details, door and window schedules, finishes and materials schedules required for the execution of the building works.
• Assist Project Architect on checking shop drawings submitted by the contractor.
• Answering queries and coordinates to other disciplines.
