Job Descriptions/Responsibilities:
• Quality Inspections at every hold points according to the ITP.
• Reviewing Reinforcing bar shop drawings, submitting to consultants for approval, and coordinating to site team prior to ordering.
• Coordinating with concrete supplier for material approval and trial mix design.
• Liaised with consultants or with authority inspectors for site works & material Inspections.
• Coordinating, preparing & submitting Inspection Requests.
• Ensuring only approved materials are being used on site.
• Ensuring all works are as per approved drawings, material submittals, quality plan, method statements & ITP.
Inspection and ensuring approvals to subcontractor works & material deliveries.
Liaised with consultants for Structural and Architectural Inspections.
Audited subcontractors for quality control & assurance.
Defects/Snagging and Final Handover.
Ensure quality assurance through proper documentations.
• Inspected all civil works from the piling/foundation, columns, and walls & up to elevated slab concreting.
• Inspected the Facade works from steel fabrication, NDT for welds, blasting inspection, DFT testing, aluminium & glazing assembly, site delivery, erection, and final touch ups for the facade / cladding works.
• Inspected the Architectural finishes including ceiling acoustical treatments, Act, Awp, carpets, epoxy finish, vinyls, metal frames, paints, rubber base, sealed concrete, stain concrete, tiles, ucrete, veneer, wood flooring & wood stain.
• Reviewed the quality submittals of the contractors such as Method statements and Inspection & Tests plan for comments prior to the project manager’s approval.
• Ensuring that only approved materials are being used in the permanent works and that Inspection and tests are carried out in accordance with the Specification requirements, Approved drawings, Work Method Statements and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Ensuring that site supervisory staff for all the contractors are aware of and are working in accordance with the approved work method statements, drawings, and materials.
• Ensuring that the third party inspection company carry out sampling, storage and testing in accordance with the requirements of the contract specification and relevant standards, this shall include the frequency requirements.
• Liaising and working closely with the consultants & contractors quality control staff for mock up inspections and follow-on inspections.
• Signing off Inspection Request Reports, when the works inspected have been accepted.
• Carrying out witnessing of tests and inspections as and when requested/required.
• Raised Non Conformance Reports.
• Issuing daily & monthly Quality reports.
• Prepared handover forms, snag lists, & represents on site together with Client’s representatives for Final area Handover. Closing the snaglist.
• Prepare drawing details for the Labor camp projects.
• Retain file copy of the contract drawings
• Preparing weekly and monthly progress report to client
• Site monitoring and studying plans before final set up
• Supervised & synchronized the activities executed by the subcontractors on site.
• Supervised the Plumbing Works.
• Handled all skilled workers for the project of road drainage and road widening of the city.
• Coordinated between the mechanical, sanitary works and electrical works.
