•Work on iOS / Android applications architecture and drive development using the latest mobile standards.
•Project planning and assigning tasks and priorities.
•Participate in all phases of our software development life cycle to convert concepts and specifications into released applications and features
•Mentor and ramp up newcomers.
•Conduct and participate in internal workshops
•Interact daily with the systems and processes used in professional software development, including source control, bug tracking, testing, etc.
•Lead apps2you's Blackberry developers team.
•Project planning and assigning tasks and priorities.
•Lead and coordinating software development
activities throughout the project, including key design decisions.
•Translate user requirements into product features, reviewing feature requests.
Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects.
•Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
•Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Attend industry events/ conference
•Acting as lead developer and playing a supporting role across all platforms
•Deliver across the entire app life cycle -concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
•Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build and test products.
•Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions.
•Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects.
•Working along the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
•Working with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features
•Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
•Standardising the platform and in some cases apps to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort
•Optimising performance for the apps
•Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
