Duties
• Medical Ward - Carried out routine investigations and care procedures, such as administering medication, injections and intravenous infusions. Ensured that care plans are implemented and evaluated on a regular basis for every patient. Assisted in diagnostic and therapeutic assessments of patient’s condition.
• Surgical Ward - Administration of drugs, injections and carried out preoperative preparation. Close monitoring of vital signs, wound care and assessment of contraptions as part of postoperative care. Utilizing specialist medical and healthcare equipment post surgery.
• OT - Made sure all equipment are sterilized and ready for procedures. Maintained strict sterile technique in assisting and circulating tasks during major operations.
• As preceptor, supervised junior students with nursing processes and interventions ensuring safe and ideal nursing care.
