Representing the Shareholders Malakoff, Sumitomo and Engie, responsible for leading Hidd Power Company during the commercial operation with full P&L responsibility for the first IWPP in Bahrain with an installed Thermal Power capacity of 930 MW and 90 MIGD of potable water ( 20% of installed power capacity and around 45% of the total installed water capacity in the Kingdom of Bahrain) under a 20 year Power and Water Purchase Agreement with the offtaker EWA.
Main role overseeing the overall management and operations of the comprehensive thermal facility ( three different plants within a same land premises, Phase one with Gas Turbines producing steam in an HRSG used for Thermal desalination process, Phase 2 comprised of Combined Cycle Gas Turbines producing electricity and with Steam Turbine extraction to get steam for a Third Phase water desalination plant.) Plant overall produces 45% of the water of the Country and 20% of the power.
Responsible to manage the asset over the life cycle continuously improving the asset value for the shareholders by maximizing revenues and optimizing costs. (ensuring the plant's efficient and sustainable operation while meeting regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.)
