As a Cthodic Protection Project Engineer responsible for the day to day direction of staff and all labors in all aspects of Construction, related to the installation of Cathodic Protection System (CP) and should have reported to the Project Manager or to the Royal Commission (RC) CP Inspector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Monitor the project in Cathodic Protection, review the design & implementation of Scope of Works based on International Codes and Standard of Standard of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) and British Standard (BS), American Standard Testing Materials (ASTM), and other similar guidelines/
Practices International Code and Standard.
•Submission all documents i.e. submittals, as Built/Drawing and diagram and related materials approval of the client, Royal Commission (RC) as per Specification requirements before and after the installation.
•Inspection and supervision of the Q.C. Engineers, Foreman, Electrical technicians and labors to perform materials preparation, check and testing installation, location supervise by Electrical Engineer (QC), and Foreman, test and testing of rebar’s and cable resistance continuity test reading before/after installation.
•Inspection and supervision the necessary for the every stage of cable ID, to ensure the exact location of installation of MMO Titanium Mix Metal Oxide Anode ribbon mesh of each Zone/Boundaries and conduct preliminary inspection before shuttering for process will take place the structures.
•Final Inspection with QC, Foreman and RC Inspector of the stage of the structures after installation of materials Mixed Metal Oxide MMO Titanium Anode Ribbon Mesh, cable ID to ensure check and testing electrical continuity test and resistance of cable to ensure that there’s no short circuits before concrete pouring.
•Supervise and Monitoring the reading of the structures during Concrete pouring if there’s no shorts by tester Digital Volts Meter (DVM) by the electrical Technician, Foremen and QC Engineers to stand by reading recorded every five (5) minutes. And check the cable resistance and testing of (+) positive and (-) negative cable if there no short circuits and should be recorded for documented after concrete pouring.
•Supervise the installation of Sacrificial Anodes for Galvanic system and Impressed Current system Tubular Anodes for Sluice Gates of structures for Cathodic Protection Systems.
•Supervise the Electrical Technician for termination the cables the (+) Positive and (-) Negative for Pre-Commissioning the testing results shall be recorded represent to Royal Commission (RC) CP Inspector.
•Day to day, Weekly and Monthly monitoring of Cathodic Protection System (CPS) of the Concrete Structures of Sea Water Cooling (SWC) Wet Wells Project after the acceptance the Project of the Royal Commission (RC).
•Monitoring of Cathodic Protection System (CPS) for minimum should also adopted one (1) year Monitoring period to represent to the Royal Commission (RC).
