Responsible for all mechanical and piping designs and verifications.
Incorporate changes in P&ID’s according to Global Management of Change (GMOC) and Regional Projects.
Prepare Plot plan, General Arrangement (GA), Isometrics, Bill of Material, Line List, Tie-in List. Site check to verify piping routing, tie-in location and equipment location.
Coordinate with Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) designers for Instrument/Piping Interface. Ensure engineering design is according to company General Information and Instructions (GII) and General Practices (GP’s). Issue engineering package for review and participate in constructability review with System Application & Electrical (SAE) engineers, contract engineers, operation and maintenances and other business units (BU).
Drafting and 3D Modelling using SMARTPLANT ISOMETRICS and AUTOCAD PLANT 3D.
Reporting to Field Engineering Manager, responsible
in a day to day activities related to piping. Provide engineering support to different departments/discipline, client, suppliers and sub-contractors. Review & monitor piping design deliverables, vendor technical and non-technical documents/drawings. Attend all piping engineering related design review & meetings. Monitor and review field design changes (FDC). Issue site instructions (SI) to subcontractors and respond
to the site technical query (STQ) raised by them.
Onboard ship survey to verify the new & existing piping condition to provide isometric, supports and layout drawings for pre-fabrication and erection. Provide the construction, procurement, integration, carry over team and subcontractors the required
technical information for the proper execution of there work.
Reporting to the Engineering & Project Manager, responsible in day to day activities related to piping. Provide engineering support to different departments/discipline, client and suppliers. Review & monitor piping design deliverables, vendor technical and non-technical documents. Lead all piping engineering related design review & meetings. Monitor and review design change. Prepare Marine & Topside piping & equipment general arrangement drawings, isometric & support drawings with BOM, P&ID’s, pipe support and As-Built drawings. Prepare Valve list, Specialty List & Line List. Prepare Purchase Order Specifications / Material Requisition.
Assist in preparation of documents and drawings in Basic Design & FEED stage. Coordination with vendors, site construction engineers, supervisors in design, fabrication & erection stage.
Prepare FPSO topside modules general arrangement drawings like Water Treatment, Water Injection, Chemical Injection, SRU & Utility, Crude Oil Separation & Stabilization, Production Manifold, Launchers & Receivers, HP & LP Flare KO Drum, Safety KO Drum, Gas Dehydration, Metering Skid, Diesel Injection & Circulation, Compressor Modules, Pipe Racks and Chemical Injection for Subsea.
Prepare overall module deck layout and access location.
Checking of isometric drawings before issuing it for fabrications.
Generate piping and support bill of quantity for purchase order.
Prepare master piping material tracking sheets.
Prepare pipe support design, fabrication and erection drawing based on pipe stress calculation report.
Study & prepare material handling drawing for all major equipment like pumps, motors, compressors etc.
Run clash report and study resolution using Navis Works software.
Prepare insulation, painting, piping material specifications, piping line list per client and process requirements.
Attend client technical & coordination meeting.
Checking of piping system process & utility flow diagram.
Review and evaluate supplier / vendor drawings and documents.
Perform other duties as maybe assigned by head of department.
Prepare pipe and equipments general arrangement drawings with relevant support type and location.
Multi-discipline 3D modeling like equipment, pipes and supports, E&I and structures using CadWorks and AutoCAD, generate isometric drawings and checking before issuing for fabrication.
Prepare piping and support bill of quantity for purchase order.
Prepare pipe support design, fabrication and erection drawing based on pipe stress calculation report.
Perform other duties as maybe assigned by head of department.
Check and weld mapping of all isometric design drawings issued by client and produce shop fabrication drawing for subcontractor and construction team use.
Coordinate with planning department and work pack coordinator for exact scope of work.
Review and check all client specifications, standards, drawings and documents issued.
Project Control System (PCS) entering of all mechanical and piping shop and field activities per isometric, layout plan and detailed drawings for planning use and man hour loading.
Assists work and hydro test pack coordinator, staff and field engineers procurement personnel in preparation of work and test packages, purchased requisition/order, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Work Method Statement (WMS) and other related documents necessary for work package hand-over.
Prepare standard, special and secondary pipe support drawing for shop fabrication and purchasing.
Prepare site technical query (STQ) regarding design and technical issues conflict with client standards.
Inform contract department for any change order and deviation of work scope based on Advanced Revision Notices (ARN), Field Instructions (FI) and other revised client drawings.
Prepare as-built drawings and incorporate all changes in PCS.
Check structural calculations and drawings.
Perform other duties as maybe assigned by managers.
Pipe modeling with relevant pipe supports using Bentley Autoplant and AutoCad based on latest approved Piping and Instrumentation Diagram.
Multi-discipline 3D modelling like piping, civil/structural etc.
Equipments layout and modeling using Autocad and Bentley Autoplant.
Study all scope of work for proper execution of the project.
Review vendor/supplier drawing.
