Responsible for overall ongoing projects in KSA.
Develop a system to control all the project sites from Head Office including daily follow up
with site for Engineering, Procurement, Project Control, Construction, Commissioning, etc... to ensure compliance with Budget and Schedule. In addition to studying market prospect and other possible clients for future projects.
Restructuring the company in order to meet the current market, review and approval of bids, overseeing the hiring process, implementation of the strategic plan, looking to the future of the business by making recommendations and
providing direct management to key managers.

I was assigned as the Sr. Projects Manager overlooking current ongoing projects, Qurayyah Combined Cycle Power Plant
and Riyadh Combined Cycle Power Plant #10. My task including close out of these projects where agreements and road maps have been made with the client to ease the closure of the projects.

- Accountable for leading a large team of employees including Construction Managers, Commissioning Managers, Engineers, Supervisors and labors dealing with project management functions of the projects.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to the project team by restructuring, integrating and implementing strategies that maximize the efficiency of the project.
- Preparing “Cost to Complete” plan of the project and forcing all concerned parties to abide by it.
- Follow up and coordinate with the design and procurement phase in order to have a smooth construction / commissioning progress.
- Execution of complete project with overall responsibilities of coordination with clients, administration offices, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Organize periodical meetings with clients / consultants and maintain strong client service orientation combined with trusting relationship with clients/ consultants.
- Monitor and review sub-contractors’ activities and scope creep to identify potential issues and proactively identify solutions to redress them.
- Ensure strict compliance of company’s QA manual, facilitate periodical internal / external QC audits. Also, oversee HSE audits, risk assessment and timely introduction of preventive measures. Enforce the QC based progress reporting system on all contractors.
- Forecast manpower requirements to HR department and assist them in experience sourcing and selection process. Also co-ordinate with HR to provide professional development for leadership positions.
- Ensure that the daily, weekly records of the progress of the works are maintained by concerned staff and evaluate the progress on weekly basis against the planned program and budget.
- Conduct site visits, site meetings and periodical review meetings to understand and ensure work progress as per schedule and resolve any issues which may hamper the progress of the project.
- Closely monitor the cost and time schedules with an eye on cost optimization and savings on budgeted cost and expediting the project ahead of schedule.
- Ensure coordination between all disciplines to drive the project to the agreed schedule on a day to day basis to ensure successful project delivery of the major milestones.
- Initiate protocol for the testing and commissioning of systems and coordinate with clients to witness the testing and evaluation of the project.
- Scrutiny of claim documents put up by the contractors and issue of provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) or final acceptance certificate (FAC), depending on the merit.
- Perform contract closure activities after ensuring the project has addressed all the terms/ conditions and fully met the exit criteria.

- Responsible for all the installation and commissioning activities (mainly Mechanical) related to the Project.
- Enforce strict compliance of company’s safety regulations and ensure that safety is built in during the execution of the works.
- Monitor the progress of the project and delivery of major milestones of the project and ensure that the contractor is adhering to the agreed project schedule on a day to day basis with no compromise to Safety and Quality.
- Ensuring resources are properly organized and allocated to support the stipulated schedule.
- Providing general technical assistance as needed on all mechanical works to ensure that the highest standards are achieved and ensure that the project is delivered against the project targets including HSE, schedule, cost and quality in accordance with the power industry standards & SPDC’s business objectives and guidelines.

• Responsible for all the Mechanical & Piping works at “Aweer Gas Turbine Power Plant - ’H’ Phase” & Jebel Ali Power and Desalination Station
“L” - Phase I.
• Cost monitoring and value analysis prior to ordering.
• Cost controlling and invoicing of the project work.
• Negotiation with customer, suppliers and subcontractors to finalize the contractual terms and conditions.
• Preparation of contract agreement with subcontractors & finalizing their bills with variation.
• Identifying and illuminating the potential area of contract liabilities.
• Coordination with client for drawings, materials and site activities.
• Close Monitoring of Work & Progress.
• Coordination with QA/QC for inspection, testing, etc…
• Hydro testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning activities.
• Coordination with Sub-contractors (Scaffolding, Painting, Grouting, etc…)

• Responsible for all the Mechanical & Piping works at “750 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant And Desalination Project for Ras Laffan Power Company”
• Scheduling (MS Project) and work/progress monitoring.
• Coordination with client for drawings, materials and site activities.
• P & ID, P & FD, assembly drawings and isometric drawings review.
• Coordination with material controller/purchase department.
• Site / workshop activities supervision.
• Coordination with Sub-contractors (Scaffolding, painting, grouting, etc…)
• Coordination with QA/QC for inspection, testing, etc…
