In this safety-sensitive role, I am responsible to perform a smooth and safe tow operation at Dubai International Airport.
Coordinate Emirates Engineering hangar activities with hangar coordinator to achieve effective parking positions and GSE for hangar requirements.
The current holder of Aircraft Towing license for cross runway and non-cross runway tows on Emirates B777-200/300/300ER, B777F, A330-200, A340-300/500, A380-800 aircraft.
In this role I was responsible to complete routine aircraft servicing tasks in accordance with maintenance manual procedures and all safety procedures to the Full Mission Capability standard
5 years engine experience on BELL 206/Allison 250-C20B and BELL 212/P&W PT6T-3B Helicopters
5 years engine experience on KFIR C2/TC2/C7 (GE J79-J1E) Fighter Jet Aircraft
3 years supervisory experience in certifying Engine Second Line maintenance including engine removal, preparation and installation, Special engine inspections, component changes, Engine washing and cleaning activities, Engine and control adjustments and riggings
Completed daily, weekly, non-flying, periodic, Intermediate servicing and modifications
Carried out engine and systems functional checks and leak checks during ground runs, Notified and reported any engine abnormality/malfunctions, Promptly attended engine snags and performed troubleshooting
On arrival reviewed tech-log entries with flight crew and rectified reported defects, performed Line maintenance activities (Refuelling, Fuel tank sump drain checks)
Performed Cock-pit I/C duties on Kfir Fighter Jet Aircraft including cockpit preparation, fighter pilot strapping, pre-flight checks, pre and post start-up checks, aircraft marshalling and towing, FOD inspection
Maintained aircraft/engine log books, historical data and records
Participated in recovery of AOG aircraft including major repairs on engines and associated components
Monitored parts availability (Nil stock/AOG), Raised parts requests for ADD
Actively participated in making annual engine spares, materials and tooling requirement list
Properly handled removed engines and components for repair and overhaul, aircraft washing and cleaning, preventive maintenance on GSE
Provided on the job training and class room training sessions for assigned SLAF trainees
Fully complied with safety procedures regarding aircraft engines
Performed and supervised daily workload in the section (carry out immediate repairs to meet the urgent operational requirements
