1. In charge of statutory audit of COSL MIDDLE EAST FZE (Iraq Branch) in Iraq and COSL MIDDLE EAST FZE in UAE and Kuwait.
2. Responsible for COSL MIDDLE EAST FZE’s UAE Value Added Tax, including, but not limited to VAT return filing, voluntary disclosure, VAT refund application. Responsible for coordinating with Iraqi auditor for corporate income tax return filing, tax audit and withholding tax reporting.
3. Preparation of monthly comprehensive financial statements, financial data analysis from entity level, project- wised management report, tax analysis of COSL MIDDLE EAST FZE and COSL International ME FZE respectively.
4. Responsible for budget preparation, monitoring (through software and internal control policy), forecasting and variance analysis of all COSL companies in Middle East region under direct management of COSL MIDDLE EAST FZE.
5. Assisting other COSL companies in MENA area for the implementation of new accounting policies as required by COSL Headquarter in accordance with IFRS.
6. Responsible for monthly and yearly account closure of COSL MIDDLE EAST and COSL International ME FZE ledger in SAP.
7. Economic Substance Report preparation and submission.
8. Offshore drilling rig modification project planning in terms of tax analysis, accounting treatment.
