Market and financial feasibility studies on new hotel and resort projects in the MENA region: The Palm Jumeirah and Burj Khalifa, Dubai; The Pearl, Qatar; Kingdom Centre, KSA; The Wave, Muscat.
Business development of corporate sales and the negotiation of all suppliers’ contracts
Maximising yield through careful rate negotiation and incentivising the sales team
Man-managing a team of 14 sales managers, including their development and appraisals
Providing key reporting documents which allowed the team to formulate sales strategies
Penetration of the City of London Accounts to increase global market share
Devising of incentive-based packages in order to compile a Top 20 Accounts list
Advertising within local, national and international media to create worldwide awareness
Monitoring of advertising budget and spend to report to the Sales and Marketing Director
To minimise the tax liability of a portfolio of high net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
Taxation and collection of UK PAYE.
