I was headhunted from CitiGroup to perform a range of roles as follows:
* Global Product Manager
ABN AMRO Bank NV-Amsterdam aims to provide excellent financial services utilising a secured information platform directly available to the global ABNAMRO network, providing the ability to respond to local, regional and global business proposals in 2-3 days of asking for all products, services and liquidity solutions.
I was directly responsible for the development, roll out, maintenance and content, while managing a lean highly skilled team of 4, including Administration and IT developers, as well as establishing/developing/coordinating 240 global stakeholders.
Implemented across 76 countries and noted as the most successfully innovated platform in the banking industry at that time, fully endorsed by ABN’s major competitors.
Achievement(s):
1. Created and implemented GTS Infobase (global content managed system) cited by top competitors as the global industries best sales tool and information platform.
2. Migrated GTS Infobase system from 120 local servers to a 3 global server platform, therefore, eliminated replication conflicts and greatly reducing operations costs of an estimated Euro 2m year on year, while enabling web access to information.
3. The system was estimated to save senior (FTE’s) working time for creation of RFP's from several months to days.
4. The system saved approx 25 senior FTE globally.
5. Enabled response to client RFP's quicker and more efficiently detailed than major competitors.
6. Made solutions achievable on a global scale.

* Senior Project Manager Y2K Task Force 1999 - 2000
I prepared ABNAMRO’s global client services for the much feared and publicised year 2000 rollover.
• With direct report to the Netherland country business head, I was responsible for identifying the potential effects of country clearing house or general infrastructure failure during Y2K rollover for Global Client services.
• Accountable for the co-ordination and development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for global client services, with a specific client responsibility for Alcatel, a top tier client.
• Ensured ICT were equipped with necessary contingencies arranged and tested.
• Direct responsibility for the top European clients - client satisfaction and retention.
• Represented ABNAMRO on the SWIFT contingency board.

Achievement(s):
1. Achieved overall client satisfaction to repel the fears and retain client confidence
2. Achieved satisfying a major French MOBILE/COMMUNICATIONS prime client (client retention)
3. Created enhanced security and a contingency legacy.
4. Achieved Year 2000 rollover success for contingency / back up services for European client base.

* Snr Network Capability Project Manager 1998 - 1999
Responsible to coordinate the implementation of payment systems, processes and procedures across Europe to standardise ABNAMRO’s capabilities and increase payment automation:
• I managed a team of 4, providing leadership in co-ordinating the migration of an in-house foreign payment system that was integrated into 4 countries namely; UK, France, Belgium and Luxembourg branches. I also monitored the local ICT and payment operations teams in London, Paris Brussels and Luxembourg and ensured projects were delivered within timescales and budgets.
Achievement(s):
1. Succeeded to ensure automated payments in 3 prime countries (Belgium, Luxemburg and London).
2. When the banking industry euro clearing model failed leading to the highly publicised Heathrow Group, I made a strategic suggestion for a temporary solution to utilize CHAPS Euro for processing Europe's traffic. This was implemented and resulted in retaining the company reputation and credibility and saved the bank an unspecified, but large cost of saving treasury claims (estimated in tens of millions!)
