→ Conducted the pre-opening activities of ‘Life with Cacao’ and ‘Flower Latte’ in
Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Saudi Arabia & the pre-opening activities of ‘The Select’
and ‘EL&N London’ in Kuwait
→ Visiting the outlets & central production units situated in the MENA region to plan,
organize and conduct pre-opening activities
→ Manage all the daily operations of the pastry, bakery, chocolate & ice cream
sections for retail & fine dining outlets in both internally and overseas

→ Attend board meetings with regard to research and development for various
concepts & products
→ Review inventory reports on monthly basis with Sous Chefs, the Supply Chain
Department and the Cost Controller to take appropriate actions against any
excessive inventory items
→ Ensure the HACCP plan is always followed to maintain safety, freshness, and quality
of the products and steadily maintain standards for food storage and rotation
→ Schedule and attend staff meetings, to present new ideas & suggestions for
improvement; to discuss and solve staff issues & problems; and to motivate the staff

→ Collaborated with the Executive Pastry Chef to develop, design and create unique &
exciting desserts to upscale franchise menus and engage the interest of customers
→ Prepared new recipe/product costings to submit to the Finance Department
→ Assisted the Executive Pastry Chef to define scopes of projects related to the outlets
and adherence to set timelines
→ Report all maintenance issues within the central production unit to the Maintenance
Department immediately to take necessity actions
→ Actively attend in training and development programs both internally and overseas
to improve the department standards & maximize opportunities for self-development
