Principal Electrical Engineer for $1.6 billion project with Texas LNG, presently in early works stage; Responsible for preparation of FERC FEED package; manhour budget, deliverables list, weekly progress. Responsible for all FERC interface and response to queries by FERC board; Responsible for Utility interface at 138 kV, Substation Equipment Layouts, Power distribution at 138 kV, 13.8 kV, 4.16 kV and 480 V; responsible for interface with Samsung Engineering Houston office; spear headed Cost Optimization for period of eight weeks with cost saving in the tune of $21 million. Lead Electrical Engineer for $70 million project with Suncor Energy, in detailed design stage. Responsible for resource planning, manhour budget, deliverables list, change orders, weekly progress. Responsible for engineering design involving power distribution to entire plant. Development of Single Line Diagrams, Load Lists, Electrical building layout, MV MCC extension in existing plant, LV MCC design and layout, Grounding Calculations, MV LV cable sizing calculations, UPS sizing calculations, Generator sizing transient response, Generator operation case studies, Harmonic analysis, Power System studies. Development of Heat tracing scope of work involving Line List and summary of EHT loads. Material Requisitions for quote purchase, Technical Bid Evaluation for: Electrical Building, LV VFD MCC non-VFD MCC, MV MCC, UPS, Transformers, Cable bus, MV cables, Generators. Issued for construction Engineering Work Packages consisting of grounding raceway layouts, MV LV schematics, cable schedules, panelboard schedules, wiring diagrams, bill of materials. Vendor dwg reviews. Power Systems reports for Load Flow, Short Ckt, Motor Starting, Arc Flash are in progress. Coordination study for breaker/relay settings.
