• Perform qualitative and quantitative workplace exposure assessment to identify workplace health hazards and produce reports with recommendations for achieving hazard reduction and compliance with relevant industrial hygiene standards.
• Follow up with the appropriate department to ensure that recommendations are implemented in a timely manner.
• To perform industrial hygiene filed measurements, assessing the risks to health arising from potential industrial hygiene stressors which may affect employee health, comfort or efficiency.
• Conduct walkthrough surveys at work locations for the prevention of occupational disease and industrial health hazards, with specific reference to physical (such as Heat, Noise, IAQ, Radiation), chemical (VOC, BTEX) and biological agents (body fluids), ergonomic (manual handling) that could lead to health issues and determine level of compliance.
• Conducting Health Risk Assessments for the activities and exposure controls on the individuals based on work place assessments.
• Budget Procure, operate and maintain including re-calibration of monitoring equipments.
• Develop technical reports; maintain records of monitoring data, observations, findings and non-conformities requiring remedial action.
• Evaluates and interprets monitoring and sampling results, makes determinations, and develop corrective strategies.
• To ensure that all industrial hygiene procedures are timely reviewed and uploaded in system.
• To provide a safe and healthy environment to the work force residing in the camps including the Camps by effective proactive inspections and by resolving issues that impact health and well-being of the workforce.
• Conduct kitchen inspections to ensure Food safety based on HACCP
• Review Method Statement, JSA and PTW
• Maintain and update database for Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of the chemicals used on site
• Assist in developing the Industrial Hygiene Management System, Objectives, KPIs, Policy, Procedures based on activity based risks and regulations.
• Provide information on QP-RLIC Guidelines, regulations, standards, legal compliance and safe work methods to supervisors, workers, safety professionals on site
• Advises and provides technical guidance and information to respective departments regarding occupational safety and health issues.
• Liaise with Ministry of Health in the investigation of suspected food poisoning incidents.
• Promote industrial hygiene awareness to educate employees, contractors, visitors and community members.

o Conduct routine walkthrough surveys of the on-plot, off-plot and camp facilities to identify issues, as well as determine level of compliance.
o Review Method Statement & JSA
o Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of the chemicals used on site
o Developing Occupational Health and Environmental Audit programme and carrying out the audits according to plan
o Provide information on regulations, standards, legal compliance and safe work methods to supervisors, workers, safety professionals on site
o Actively participate in various site safety programs and interface with the Emergency Response Team and various groups including internal and external customers
o Qualitative Exposure assessment which includes background and walkthrough survey
o Quantitative exposure assessment that includes workplace air & noise monitoring, Ergonomics risk assessment
o Safety risk assessment that includes health and safety risk assessment in Plant operations & Construction safety
o Assist in OHSAS 18001 activities
o Training on PPEs, Manual Material Handling, Machine Guarding, etc
o Coordinate project / construction safety
o Assist in ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 activities
o Qualitative and Quantitative workplace chemical and Noise Exposure Assessment
o Assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of the chemicals used in the plant.
o Assist in developing and reviewing Safe Operating Procedures (SOP) related to EHS and conduct training on SOPs.
o Assist in developing engineering and administrative controls
o Carry out ergonomic risk assessment
o Carry out workplace safety inspection
o Training on PPEs /RPEs, contractor’s safety, construction safety, Fire safety, tools safety etc.
