Qatar National Bank Data warehouse extensively used across the Business lines, which includes 14 entities across the globe. It includes Core banking Products, Credit cards, Debit Cards, Facilities, Limits, Transaction, P&L and Balance Sheet data. The data is represented in Cognos Business intelligence layer for reporting purposes.

Data warehouse acts as Operational Data source for downstream systems, as the management has decided to keep data source as EDW for all downstream systems, implemented Asset Liability Management (SunGard), Corporate Workflow and Risk Origin Limits (Moody’s System).

Major Responsibilities:
Communicating with Vendor to understand functional requirement and Mapping the requirement to Data warehouse.
•Discussing the Data gaps with business in existing Data warehouse as per the required functionality from the Vendor, appropriate decision making along with all stakeholders.
•If Major risk escalating to Project Manager for timeline crunch
•Provision of Data Mapping from Data warehouse to ALM Focus to ETL team with appropriate Logic to extract and Load to Input DB.
•Data Dictionary and Data Mapping with the Data warehouse models created for the data acquisition.
•Co-ordination between the Business, Development, testing and infrastructure Technical teams.
•Understanding Source and Target Application system Functionality as per the Data requirements.
•Extensive user interaction with different levels and make them understand the issue’s in data.
•Publishing progress reports to management.
