• APC - Advanced Process Control.
• ARC - Advanced Regulatory Control.
• Base layer configuration and improvement:
Capture in standards/templates (assist to standardize the way small / medium control projects are documented, configured and implemented in the Sasolburg area).
• Design and implement advanced/complex control logic for projects
• Assist with effective and user friendly sequencing and batch design
• Control loop performance monitoring (using specialized software - test installation being implemented)
• CCII (including audits, standards, implementation, SLAs, cyber security, etc.)
• Advanced alarm solutions in the form of conditional alarming.
• Responsible for control systems related design and implementation of improvement projects in line with business priority.
• Maintenance of the Advanced Process Controllers and Distributed Control Systems for the LDPE, LLDPE, and Pack line and compounding plants.
• Enhance and improve plant capabilities, and baselines to satisfy business needs and generate new ideas towards continuous improvement.
• Be a productive member of project teams from idea generation to implementation.
