Monitor large wireless network (WISP), head office computers and servers for problems from Network Operation Center (NOC)
Analyze problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with site technicians and track problems through to resolution.
Responsible for installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems and other technologies such as communication systems. Primary duties include configuring hardware and software, setting up peripherals such as printers or routers, repairing equipment, and providing daily support for computer network users. Provide assistance by answering calls and e-mails regarding the computer network or communication systems. Responsible for writing reports, tracking inventory, evaluating new technologies, negotiating contracts with vendors, and developing contingency plans in case of network failure.
Investigating end user problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions. Participating in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of application hardware and software. Providing system level support for computer software and hardware used to conduct development of a project. Recommending and installing new hardware and software but not limited to troubleshooting. Maintaining confidentiality with the regard of information being processed stored or access by the network. Documenting all network and hardware problems and resolutions for future reference.
Troubleshooting common hardware and software issues. Meeting deadlines and adjust to changing priorities. Working independently with less supervision. Troubleshooting and configuring network.Work as part of a team in stressful situations, maintain composure and sense of humor in the face of heavy workload and constant interruptions
