As the order Management & Logistics Team Leader, I manage a team of 4 back office end users and aim to apply best in place practice among team and operations within Schneider.
I lead Logistics solutions in line with key goals, (customer satisfaction first, cost efficiency and team work) aiming continuous improvement led high team work spirit.
Key duties and accomplishments
• Supervise the order management team and assist them to meet set monthly KPIs.
• Perform internal department audit on OP process coherence and application consistency.
• Offer daily consultancy on freight related decisions, suppliers, finance related issues as well as
ERP system.
• Owner of the freight charges negotiation with set forwarders and potential ones in terms of
forecasted yearly shipments volume.
• Responsible of freight cost reduction together with transit time and mode of shipment
optimization to reach best in place practice aiming to customer satisfaction.
• Single point of contact for all freight processing (air, sea, Land)
• Initiate, analyze and share forwarder scorecard and set action plans for area of development.
• Set Logistics department processes to comply with ISO 9001 and Bridge.
• Perform whole order cycle till arrival for major account in East Med.
• Contribute with Supply Chain Manager in the deployment of Logistics related Projects set by
Schneider.
• Process management reports upon need with data analysis leading to managerial decisions.

Transport Leader
As a transport responsible, my job is to secure the cost effective shipping mode under strict quality terms and delivery deadline to Eastmed (Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Cyprus), as well handle consultation order management for high profile customers.
Key duties and accomplishments
• Fulfilled the 3 % USD freight per item target through securing and negotiating rates and services with existing forwarders for new routes.
• Lead performance improvements for vendors and forwarders.
• Audit forwarders freight and clearing invoices before sending to Accounts Payable, and track CN receipt where applicable.
• Offer INCOTERMS validation consultancy for new orders in terms of LC, shipping mode, final destination regulations and delivery time.
• Prepare re-export documentation to Arab countries (mainly Sahab free zone & Amman in Jordan and Baghdad) such as: COO, legalization As well, negotiate case by case rates for re-export shipments.
• Make thorough follow up with forwarders after pick up request at our vendors premises to ensure right containers types with no delay and that their traffic requirements are fulfilled in line with their bookings for cross-shipments.
• Prepare necessary documentation (MAWB, HAWB, BL, EUR 1, Tayssir, invoice and packing list ) for each country in compliance with Air, Road and Sea regulations and customs legislation to secure smooth port / borders clearance formalities with zero penalty and demurrage.
• On weekly basis, arrange Eastmed orders consolidation from Spain, France vendors and based on shipment weight and volume to reach best shipping mode and container types under the (USD freight per item) preset rule and KPI.
• Manage with ease multiple consultation orders for Schneider major consultation clients from order placement, choosing shipping mode till billing and order delivery in compliance with LC requirements / INCOTERMS.
