Direct and coordinate the activities of EIP Cold Store Panels with Flashings and Fixing Accessories manufactured in UAE. Manage the Planning, Co-ordination, Ministry related documentation, Export & Import functions of this prestigious brand. A job with high expectations and responsibility and Reporting to the Operations Manager.
• Planning, scheduling and coordinating activities related to Import & Exports in sync with the development for various projects
• Developing & improving existing logistics procedures and SOP’s
• Monitoring the operations staff, implementing best practices and executing assignments in compliance with assigned directives, rules and procedures in accordance with the ISO regulations
• Build positive relations with both internal and external customers in order to achieve the company goals
• Initiate improvements to enhance quality standards, as well as, initiating meetings with other departments to address specific performance / after sales issues
• Control and execution of all shipping documentation for export & import shipment as well as service supplier agreements. Also managing the Emirsal Documentation for various Imports and Exports.
• Control and execution of Ministry of Economy and Dubai Municipality related documentation. Manage the Duty Exemptions and the Dangerous Goods Import applications from Dubai Municipality for Chemicals and related products.
• Revise payment terms, Binding contracts, and study LC conditions to match with the Logistics provisions and ensure execution of LC shipments with full control on the documentation to the Bank
• Providing first response to customer complaints and claims and then initiating and leading internal investigations about the claim.
• Communicating between the customers/ sales department/contracting department and operations, to feed the operations department with the data to create weekly loading plan
