1. Responsible for all day‑to‑day structural engineering aspects of the project
2. Manage the workload of structural engineers and inspectors (including verification of quality control
at site)
3. Using computer software to predict how structures react under different conditions
4. Responsible for reporting progress to Project Director, including any escalations and key engineering
issues.
5. Liaise and coordinate with the other engineering teams on site ‑ Mechanical, electrical, etc.
6. Liaise between contractor and client coordinating with the design engineer.
7. Ensure senior staff is kept informed of important and relevant service and site decisions and that the
objectives of the client are achieved.
8. Continually ensure that practices, policies, strategies, and services represent the client's best
interests.
9. Shop drawing / material submittals review as well as supervision of various civil engineering matters.
10. Attending technical meetings with the client and the contractor.
11. Addressing letters and site instructions to the contractor.
12. Well‑versed in the supervision and coordination of site activities.

1. Prepare structural design packages including calculations, specifications, and drawings from the
conceptual stage through to the completion of detailed design.
2. Coordinate with other project consultants (architect, services, contractors, quantity surveyors, etc) to
incorporate all relative information into the design.
3. Using computer modeling simulations to predict how structures will act under varying conditions.
4. Calculating loads and stresses on structural foundations, beams, and walls.
5. Advising on building repairs or demolition.
6. Engineering supervision of sites and implementation works (foundation, Columns, Slab).
7. Quantity Surveying.

1. Supervision on the construction process in the building's department.
2. Supervision on reinforced concrete work including foundations, columns, and slabs (carpentry and
steel), and make sure it conformed with the project and the structural drawings.
3. Ensure that all conditions necessary for the pouring of concrete are acquired.
4. Affirm ratios of finishing's material mixing.
5. Manage/supervise constructions in line with the business plan.
6. Ensure that safe work practices are understood and implemented.

1. Preparation of Shop drawings for various civil engineering projects including large residential
developments
2. Preparation of progress reports and relevant technical documents/drawings, quality control of
executed works
3. Construction of simple structures from excavation to final finishing.
4. Review the design of the consultant and identify structural problems.
5. Review structural drawings and architectural drawings to identify differences and solve problems.
